Bulletin: Ascension Plot Hiatus/Message from Neku

Hi there all.

As you may have noticed, Ascension has been stalled recently for a while. This has been due to many factors, but Sora and I have decided to put the arc on hiatus for a time when he can better focus on it.

Specifically, a rather large arc is about to happen on another website that he's heavily involved in and he's co-leading it. He's been heavily involved in prepwork and other things.

Admittedly, there are personal reasons as well that Ascension is going on hiatus.

He has told me that he will be coming back and picking back up with it at a later time. Until that time, we'll have to do what we can within ourselves to get the site back up and running again.

I want all of you to put your heart and soul into it. There's already too much that we have here to just let it die. Neku's personal plot will be springing back up almost immediately and anyone else who is working on personal plots is encouragd to go through with those as well. Open threads are highly encouraged.

Otherborn is something very very special to me and I'd like to hope that it's become that way for you as well.

We can't let this one die. Too many others have. As friendships break apart and come together, bonds fall apart and are formed... but we can't let that happen to Otherborn.

Maybe it's because Neku's become such a big part of me now, but I feel about Otherborn the way he does about Urbadelphia. It's mine, someting I protect and I've thrown a whole chunk of my life into. The stories here will never fade and die. We have memories.

Let's make new ones.

Well...actually... I could continue to run Ascension. But, I will leave that up to everyone because Ascension will only run if people are willing to be in it. If everyone feels like they can handle two plots at the same time, we can continue, if not then we will wait till some of the personal plot bits are wrapped up.

Or a third option is drop the arc and I can basically tell you what would have happened, I hope no one wishes for this option, BUT it is open anyway.

Eh, if someone throws me a catchup and I can find a way to place in one of my characters, I'd gladly keep Ascension going. I've been looking for a place to jump back into OB lately.

To be fair... If we're going to keep Ascension going, I'd rather we do it whilst we can, given how much of Shiuzo's personal plot is dependent on it... D:
