"I'm fine, Neku." The automatic response came before she realized what she'd said. What the heck, she didn't want to pull anyone else into her problems! She'd already told Namine, now that was enough. Except this time she hadn't willingly admitted anything.
She nodded, "I told you earlier not to worry about it..."

I raised an eyebrow.
"And I thought Nami was bad," I said, giving her a pat on the shoulder. "But... I guess I know better than anyone what it's like not wanting anybody to pry into your personal problems. C'mon, I'll buy you some cocoa at Wildkat or Veil or someplace and we can talk about something completely unrelated if you want. And I guess maybe later, once we've got some sugar and caffeine in our systems maybe we'll swap sob stories and help each other out... because that's what friends are for, right?"

She stared at him and then smiled, "Yeah...alright. As long as I don't have that shadow hanging over me, let's do it." Talking didn't sound that bad. And helping...well of course she was up for that.
