I found it when I was wandering after I woke up, and found out on my own that non-fiction was the section I needed to go.
Wow libraries are beautiful, I'm telling you right now. Most importantly were the books. I found a bunch of "For Dummies" books, which I was actually looking for in the first place because that's what my Dad told me, "If you ever get sucked into the human world, for the love of god look for the 'For Dummies' Books."
So I sat for a couple of hours reading things I still do not understand but now I get the concept. One of the things that made me a bit sad though was a "Alcohol 18+" thing. I mean, I'm a demon. We do not have drinking laws and I love the taste of a good wine. The problem is that I look like a human teenager. So I can't get away with it. Although my tolerance for alcohol is unbelievable.
I figured out how quick of a reader I was though as I read. I finished about 7 of the books in a 5 hour span. I got about 10 more of the books and asked if I could check them out. I did in fact pay for the library card and got my name signed.
You see, humans have this thing called a surname. I don't really understand it, but my dad DID tell me which one I should use because of connections we used to have to the family.
I didn't remember. Silly me.
I looked through a surname book though before I went up to the counter. I didn't want to be "Xion Smith" because lets face it, Xion is not a name followed by "Smith"
After I looked through it I found Asian names, sure I cannot pull off the Asian look, but I could just say my father is of Asian descent or something like that. The last name I chose was Chinese, because I knew a bit of Cantonese to at least pretend relation exists.
So, after spending an hour writing it in case I did need to sign something, I chose "Xion Lài" which was one of the common last names. If I do in fact need to get it traced back to me somehow I chose one of the most common surnames, that way I can pretend my family was one of the immigrants from Japan that faked Chinese last names during the American Determent (yes, I did in fact search for this, I'm not dumb I just needed a little assistance is all.)
After I checked out the books I headed back with the card in my hand, you know, I could get used to this... I just need to do one thing one my human basics are learned.
Find a job.
