The concert that had been going on in the Black Hole Stadium was coming to an end. The crowd that had gathered inside was now slowly leaving the building. Among the many teens that had come, Yeul was one of them. She'd been able to enjoy herself; the people in this city sure did have talent. She was starting to exit the building when Kurai's voice came through.
"Yeul, begin a Crossing. Let's see if these humans can run."
She stopped walking and winced at his command, wanting to refuse. But she knew that wasn't an option.
"Yes, Master."
She closed her eyes and focused on the Veil, urging demons to come through. The scenery changed into the chaos that was a Crossing. Demons came through and Yeul could already hear the screams. She opened her eyes as lesser demons came from behind her.
Weakened from the summoning, she fell back into a chair and tried to clear her head. Her Master's wish had been brought. Now Yeul was free to do as she wanted; to help or not.

I had slipped off from Yuna a little bit ago because she gets... Jumpy sometimes. Though she's a really nice lady. But I like this place and its music. That's why I snuck in, to hear the band play.
I was about to pull myself up and over the edge of a high wall when my hands became paws and I slip.
Hissing and twisting in the air I land on my paws to see demons running a muck and humans screaming in fear, "Uh-oh."

Out of the corner of her eye, Yeul saw something fall from a wall not too far from her. She turned her head to see a furry creature looking around at the scene she had caused. Unsure sure if it was a demon or not, she stood and and ran over to it. "Uh, you okay?" Not that the creature could respond to her anyway.

Was I okay?
A quick flex of my claws and race around the girl whom came over to me and I can nod in satisfaction. I'm fine. But these poor defenseless people are not. So I growl and my hackles raise as I bound forward to swipe at a demon that got too close. But I do check back to see if the other is alright still.

She watced the creature run around her and then nod. Wow she actually understood me. Yeul watched the furry thing run off and start attacking the demons. She assumed that it wasn't a demon based off of it's actions. Yeul glanced around frantically, searching for someone she could copy abilities from. There had to be another Halfer or Otherborn around here...

Keeping up my fight I stick close to the other, she seems a little... Panicked in my option. I hope she knows how to fight, I'm just a little kitten demon after all. And these guys are definitely bigger than me!

A demon swiped at her, and Yeul jumped back to avoid it. She may have summoned them, but they were still demons. She looked around again for someone, but so far she had no luck. Yeul felt someone shove her out of the way and she fell into the wall. Her hand brushed someone's shoulder, and she activated her ability. A sense of power coursed through her. She snapped her fingers and sparks flew from her hand. Then she ran in and began to fight the demons.

Hei was moving around in the Veil, taking down lesser demons as he moved. He had to move, quickly, after he stopped and saw two strange people. Demons, or one was anyway. Luckily with his mask on he didn't have to worry about being recognized. He leaped in the throng of the demons and began taking them out, one by one, quickly, so he would not linger. |

Yeul continued to fight with her new powers, finding them easy to control. As she took down another demon, she caught sight of someone else. Their back was turned towards her and they were moving quickly. But whoever they were, they were fighting along with them. Yeul didn't think much of it; she continued to fight off the demons.

Pouncing and wrestling with another demon I finally manage to kill it before going to the next one, I can feel the bruises and blood on myself. This battle better end well.
My teeth sink into the skull of another and I tug hard, cleanly ripping off their head and moving onto the next. I didn't realize it until it happened, I bump into another fighting. This one is male, tall, and masked. Hope he doesn't think I'm here to attack him!

Hei looked down at the small demon...cat....thing. He wasn't sure how to react to it, so he continued killing as much demons as possible. Sides, it wouldn't be long before someone stronger showed up to deal with the demons. He had a mission and had to perform it, all he had to do was find the source of the demons summoning...it was close...but he couldn't pinpoint what it was. |

Yeul took down one demon after the next, keeping an eye on the two other fighters. The male was fast and hard to keep track of, but she was able to watch the little furry thing easily. She knew that there was a lead demon and not a spell this time. Yeul sensed it nearby, and hurried towards it. This Crossing needed to end.

The girl had dashed off and my eyes track her as I decide to make my way behind her. Besides, that's the direction that the scariest and meanest scent is coming from. So I decide to help as I tumble my way through the demons. Scratching at ones face when it gets in my way.

The lead demon was just as nasty as the rest, only larger and more powerful. Yeul noticed the cat-like thing following behind her. She said nothing about it, if she followed then there would be extra help. She shot an electric bolt at the demon, gaining it's attention. The monster lunged at her, and she did her best to dodge it and then attack again.

My ears laid back in fright, Well isn't this one fine pickle? Dropping down on my hunches while running and springing up while the demon lunged for the girl I managed to get on its head, claws digging into its eyes. Like to see how well you fight when you can't see, you over grown bully!
