I hadn't meant to lock myself out. I really hadn't. Although I had been there for a few months at this point I had never locked myself out, I always remembered the key. In this case I rushed to get books back to the library so I wouldn't get fined and succeeded, but forgot to grab my key as I left.
Instinct was telling me to break the door down, common sense was telling me to call Damon to get a copy of the key.
Experimentation was telling me to lockpick the door.
Guess what, experimentation won the battle.
I took a hair pin I had in my pocket and tried to do so. In reality I wasn't paying attention to people around me, but I saw a couple people walk by not even paying attention. No one even seemed to ask the question "is this girl trying to break in"
Probably not, I mean how many other people have tried the same thing.
