Noctis had gazed off into the centre of the stadium, lost in thought until Aqua had spoken again and had drawn his attention as a result. "I thought it might be best if I explored the city a bit more and got my bearings, especially since it seems like I'm going to be here for awhile." He replied as he leaned forward a bit to rest his elbows against his legs.

Aqua nods, "yes... That is a good idea. Best to be prepared and not caught unawares." She says this to the both of them and shifts in her seat a little.

I watched as Aqua moved around in her seat. "So I take it you're new to Urbadelphia? Seems like a lot of people are..." I sighed and looked between my new companions. "This town is just of interesting people." A smirk crossed my face, was anyone in this town 'normal'? I guess I fit in this way.

Noctis nodded to confirm what Aya said before she remarked that a lot of new people seemed to be making their way into town. "Have either of you been here long?" He asked as he looked from one to the other, from the way they acted it certainly seemed like they had been here for a few more months than he at the very least.

"I've only been here a month, so not very long. Better here then where I was though." I thought back to my small town and knew where I'd prefer to be. I began to worry about whether I'm starting to give out too much information on me. Lea knew more but I felt uncomfortable with even that.

"I've only been here for a month as well." He was vaguely surprised that Aya had only been there for around the same amount of time he had been, she seemed to have a far better grasp of the place than he did. Granted, he'd spent most of his time hiding out in his apartment. However, Aqua's time of ten years seemed almost monumental to him, most likely from the fact that he'd barely stayed in one place longer than a couple of months over the past year or so.

"Not so much odd man out," I commented as I played with a small charm tied onto the zipper of my backpack. "Just different." I kept playing with the little charm. I thought on how to make conversation, it'd be a shame to sit here in awkward silence. Finally question came into my mind.
"So you two have families?" After I said it, I realized I'd be expected to answer it myself. Dammit.

"Yeah, but I haven't seen them in years." Noctis said in answer to Aya's question, looking a little distant as he became lost in thought momentarily. He couldn't help but vaguely wonder how his family and his old friends were doing but it had been four years since he had last seen any of them, it would be too much of a disruption to pop into their lives again. Not to mention the difficulties that might follow such an appearance. "What about you, Aya? Any family?"

I listened to Aqua and Noctis answer. When I was asked however, I shifted uncomfortably in my seat. "Just immediate family but they are back where I used to live." Alright, I lied to them. There isn't much else I could say though. "I don't really talk to them anymore though, we got distant."
Just then did I realized that these two were helping me get over my troubled thoughts from earlier so I'm grateful for that. Maybe they weren't so terrible to be around.

"I suppose so. At least that makes it easier to keep track of everyone." He said with a minuscule smile, it was slowly becoming easier to talk to these people the more time he spent around them. He was tempted to ask if Aqua had any abilities similar to what he and Aya possessed but knew that it would be foolish and reckless until he had some inkling that she did.

I nodded but didn't say a word. I was tired of making small talk but I didn't feel like leaving. When no one really began to say anything though, I got up to leave. "Well, it's been wonderful meeting you all but I should get going." I put my backpack over one of my shoulders and began to leave, having to bump into Noctis on my way out. I stopped though when I remembered something he mentioned before about his power... Shit.
