Sitting in the lobby outside of the main doctor's area I find my foot tapping nervously. I can't believe my luck, I'm not throwing up or anything... I'm just getting a little big... and... miss two... at least. Sighing my head leans back against the wall behind me, wondering, hoping someone will come along and distract me.
Earlier I had done a quick search over reasons why... those two things could happen. One of them wasn't really pleasant... the other even less so. I really hope its neither of them, so I came in to get blood work done and they told me to come back in an hour. Although knowing myself I'd forget that if I left the hospital...
Sigh.
Checking my phone I see I fifteen more minutes to go. Man this is taking too long! So I end up playing a couple games, texting a couple people, singing two songs in French and finally end up pulling out a note book from my purse and playing tic-tac-toe against myself.
I. Am. SO. BORED!
Humming as I play game number seven I blink as my phone buzzes. Checking it I see a text back from Darla. Its a basic rundown of her day... and she manages to slip Noctis in at least once... Wow.
Shaking my head I text back a simple cool before checking the time...
And bolting to my feet. Shoving my stuff back into my purse while scrambling to pull out my id, insurance, and debit card. My feet slide me into the elevator and it jumps at first before smoothly heading up, my finger jamming the number three. Soon enough I'm there and am booking it to the end of the hall.
"Excuse me, pardon me, watch it where you're pointing that thing!"
My feet stumble into the ward. Then up to the desk, the lady there asks if I want a doctor to help me with the read out. Telling her yes I end up waiting another five minutes, which is okay, it gives me time to cool off. Having my name called I calmly walk over to the doctor who leads me to the back.
Once settled on the examination table he - why for these types of things are they always male? - gives me a huge grin - um, creepy, I'd like to request a new doctor - and he then goes to tell me what's going on - about damn time someone did!
"Ms. LeBeau. I am proud to inform you that you are indeed pregna-- Ms. LeB--!!" My head hits the table and I can barely make out a shout for a nurse, the feeling of my body being moved about.
All I know for sure is I'm pregnant...
And I passed out at the doctor's again..

She doesn't mean he's gonna kill her for being pregnant. He means he's gonna be upset with her b/c she passed out at the doctor's again... ah-heh-heh... Yep, now that I've written this I can contently get ready and go to school... sorta...
