She took the number, looked it over, and then put it in her pocket. Really, she hoped that she wouldn't have to call on him as much as she feared. Having people protecting her constantly, it bothered her. It was nice to know that he wanted to help her though. "I'll try not to call too often."

"Only when you need to." he nodded, turning to his own phone for a moment as it rumbled. Checking a text that appeared on the screen for a moment before stuffing it back in his pocket.
"Any new developments in the Ifrit situation, beyond that weirdass Crossing?"

"The only thing we're sure of is that device Aqua found triggered it. It's able to create tears in the Veil and hold them open. Other than that, we're still looking for more information." She leaned back in her chair, "He does a nice job of hiding, sadly."

Shiki nodded, "I shouldn't even be surprised. We really need to get a hit on him before something else happens."
"It makes you wonder though how possible it is to create these kinds of things. And what else could pop up in the future."

Sora frowned, the Network was taking an unusually long time to narrow down this guy's location.
"No offense, but is it normal for the Network to be taking this long to locate the guy?"

She tilted her head a bit, "Well yes and no. Usually when we get called on a lower level alert, we've already found the demon and it's time to take it out. This time we're working in reverse, the demon's hunting us, and we have to find it and stop it first. And Ifrit is especially skilled, which makes it harder."

"I wouldn't say we have no plans at all. They're just...scattered. Ifrit caught us off guard; we didn't expect it. This is all coming from what I've been told and what I assume." Shiki looked up at the ceiling, "I'm going to guess you haven't found him either?"

"Haven't been trying," Sora confessed. "This may sound tactless...but at the moment, Ifrit is not an issue to me."
Mostly because if Sora is more active to finding him, he'll have to cage him...to be honest he found destroying him to be a much better idea.

She shrugged, "I'm sure you have other things to worry about. We'll take care of him sooner or later. No one can stay hidden forever." Though she was starting to have her doubts, Shiki refused to believe that Ifrit would take them out first.

She worried that she'd said something wrong, but dismissed it. Shiki nodded, "Yeah, I'll see you. Oh Sora?" Shiki gave him a grateful look, "Thank you. For everything."
