Surprise hit me as he put his back against mine and asked for a gun. I thought quickly before answering. "Yeah, I have an extra pistol." I handed him one of the guns I was holding and grabbed one from my ankle holster to replace the gun I had given away and shot down a demon coming my way before crippling another demon by shooting it's ankle.
"This is a lot easier with a group, I have to admit." I barely ever fought with a group, thankfully I had one this time because I never would be able to fight this many demons by myself. There were so many.

"Where are they all coming from?" I asked, keeping myself in close to the other two. The pipe was on the other side of the street from me, but my force did just as well, and I kept swiping at the demons as they kept coming. "Anyone got another pipe?" I asked, half-joking.

I smirked at Neku's response. "Sorry, don't have that. I can hand you one of my guns if needed?" I offered it but I was unsure how much I wanted to give it away. I looked around for the strongest demon in the fray, but it was difficult with how many demons there were. "Does anyone see the ringleader?" I yelled out. I was hoping they could pin the leader so we could finish this ordeal.

Noctis quickly took the gun Aya offered, using the shots sparingly for those out of range so that they didn't use up her ammo supply too quickly and used his swords for those that were in range for a melee weapon. He glanced around but it wasn't hard to spot the ringleader, a large and ugly demon stepping forth from the entrance point. "I think it just found us." He said with a worried frown on his face.

"I don't do guns," I told her, shuddering slightly.
They always give me the creeps. On bad days, I can barely stand to fight next to someone using one; luckily, this wasnt' a bad day.
FLashes from my past are few and far between, luckily.
Hearing the black-haired guy comment about the ringleader, I turned.
"Hopefully, getting rid of it will cause the others to go back wher ethey came from!"

Shiki swung her flaming staff at the demons, blocking hits only when necessary. These ones were tougher than she'd fought a few days earlier. They were smarter, unfortunately, too. But still she managed to cut them down one by one. When Noctis pointed out the lead demon, Shiki sighed with releif. She didn't think she was quite ready to deal with another spell so soon. That, and she hated showing weakness around a group of people.
"Alright, let's take it down!"

I aimed at the demon the the man at my back pointed out and started shooting, almost disregarding most of the other demons coming my way. I quickly checked around to see how the new girl and Neku were doing and they we're holding their own just fine from the looks of things so I went back to what I was doing before.

Noctis quickly aimed the gun he'd been given and shot at the lead demons, though he utilize his sword when the peons began to get too close for comfort and drove them away from both himself and Aya. Things certainly seemed to go much better in a group, while he surprisingly hadn't seen many crossings each one was much tougher on your own.

Shiki moved in front of Noctis after he'd driven the closer demons away. "I have your back. I think that girl's going to need sone help with the leader." She nodded in her direction, then turned back to fighting. As she had said, she did her best to keep the demons away from Noctis and the girl, swinging and slicing down with her staff.

I got kinda annoyed being called 'that girl' so I decided to tell her my name. "The name is Aya! Wish we met under better circumstances." I continued shooting, glad to know that someone is looking out for me as I continued shooting at potential weak spots hoping to hit one but unfortunately none of them seemed to be as weak as they looked. So, if all else fails, aim for the face.

"Thanks Shiki." He replied before tossing Aya the gun she had loaned to him before darting in and slashing at the creature, hoping that the weight of the sword would drive the blade deep into the demon's flesh. He ducked and dodged the blows the demon sent his way, only getting nicked a few times because of almost-too-risky moves.

I rolled down the way, 'picked up' the pipe, and sent it flying at the leader. All it would do would be distract it, likely, but it gave me some time to concentrate.
"Shiki! That thign we did to the portal!" I called to her. "On three!"

"Nice to meet you, Aya! I'm Shiki!" She called out as she went at another monster. "It can't be helped." She continued with her fighting until she heard Neku's plan. This time there wasn't a portal causing her problems, so she expected it would be easier. "Right!" she called back to him. Shiki let her staff of fire disappear in her hands. Then waited until Neku yelled 'three' and did the same as before. Flames came up around her and Neku (both were unharmed) and ignited his force with her fire.

Noctis would glanced back at Shiki and Neku when he could, not wishing to be accidentally hit for one reason or another before turning his attention back to the leader. He jumped back as the demon took a swipe at him and rushed back in to continue slashing at it.

The day had been long and boring. I spent it looking for the Head Watcher. Didn't find 'em and definitely didn't find any Otherborns... Whoa!
Getting practically dragged in by my side I stumble onto a fight, "Dear Lord!" Thankfully I landed where very fer demons were and they hopefully won't attack me.
Seeing the fight going on and it seems as if they could use some help. All of them seemed to be attacking a giant demon, nothing too shabby either from the ones I've seen. So I gauge the situation, I wasn't ready for something like this to happen before learning whom people are. So I have to chose quickly who to help.
Deciding on the guy with only a sword, I focus on him giving his sword more of an edge. Its blade glows silver as lands a blow, effectively slicing cleanly into the demons flesh. But the cut wasn't too deep, enough to make the beast howl in pain though.
