He frowned, brows furrowing. "I don't remember ever hearing about a demon in the Kohaku, but doesn't mean there wasn't one. The records from back then are pretty scarce, that was before the current Head took over the Network." He shook his head. "Sorry. Are you related? If he's a half-brother or something, I could see if anyone knows of a river-demon or river-dragon living here. We don't know much about them, but I do remember hearing that even if the river is diverted or blocked, they don't disappear - they could lose their memories, though." He shrugged. "Then again, like I said... we barely know anything about the demons that choose to live secretly in our world. We're more focused on the ones who want to take over the world."

"Yes, he is my brother," Her voice hold a tone of desperation and for a moment she felt the same way she did the day he almost died. What if he simply... was whipped out? No, Lea did say somethings that make sense. "If you could, I would forever be in your debt."
Slowly she begins to calm down, something clicking in the back of her mind, "... I am truly sorry, I should of had a better hold on myself." Was she really acting like she had all the way back then? No, the world has aged her, she knows that, she must be as strong as the waters that pulse through her. "... Lea? Is there a place I may stay? I haven't told Aqua I was coming after all."

"There's a few apartment complexes and hotels around here, but... if you want, I know a place that would put you up for free. My boss, Tifa, she has an apartment in the back of our club. She lets people passing through stay there for free, if they need a place." He watched her reaction. He had the feeling she didn't have much; he didn't know why, he just did. Besides, he suddenly had the feeling that she probably shouldn't be alone right now.

Lea's first assumption is correct, Destani only carried a few gold bracelets she could sell for many and a could salt cubes she uses for refreshments when she begins to miss home. But she does nod, her hand passing over her water pouch a moment, calmed by the sloshing she feels against her leg, "If your boss really wouldn't mind... I'm not exactly in the right... Place for trading with gold am I?" Besides before she would simply offer her services or she would actually be on at home with her mate and hatchlings.

His look was analytical, penetrating; he had his guesses, but he wasn't going to let them get in the way of this. "Trust me; Tifa's good people. She's a retired Contact for the Network - she wouldn't turn anyone away."

Something prickles her, "Hmm... Well it seems as if Genesis is enjoying watching us... Would you be so kind as to show me around when morning time comes?"

I laugh lightly. "I'm sorry if I just feel like a stray third wheel. I was merely enjoying a conversation I couldn't actually join in. I know close-to-nothing, anyway. But of course, my lady. I'd be honored."
