Clueless in Aisle 4[Closed]

I'm fairly certain when most demons appear in this world they usually run around cautiously or with a purpose. Me? I just saw this giant lit up sign that said "All-Mart"

When I walked up to it I just kept staring at the moving doors, which freaked me out at first but managed to amaze me after a few seconds. When I found out the pattern I ran through it and couldn't help but laugh.

Of course humans were confused, but that's what made it fun.

So I ended up looking at this enormous place with bright lights, the only thing I knew was what the floor was. I walked around a bit scared of everything but trying to keep casual, I ended up in an aisle filled with glowing little squares of glass. I looked around until a little creature moved and I jumped, I squatted down in front of it and stared at it with big eyes.

"Oh, it's a fish."

Why was it in this glass container? What were these things connecting around it? Do they not eat fish? Why do they preserve them in such a safe environment?

I looked around to see if anyone was there, then picked up the fish by the tail and examined it. I stared for a few seconds wondering if I should not give into my instinct and eat it. Instead I put the fish back and saw all the fish in the tanks.

"Hehe, what the heck?"

Do they save them for later? Perhaps it's all a joke?

I had absolutely no idea why these humans do some of these things.

Sighing and closing my text book I glance around. I seem to have walked into the food section, not what I was going for, but this can wo--

Hello adorable~

She has a fish in her hands and seems to be examining it curiously. Or was it really the fish she was examining. Hmmm...

Smiling, I walk over to the girl as she places to fish back in its tank. Running a quick hand through my blue spikes I speak brightly, "Hey, I'm Sini... I just recently got back to town... And I was wondering if, ya know, I could get your name?" Maybe I'm being a little blunt and bold... Naw! I just hope she isn't shy or this could end badly...!

[Xion]

I think my brain did all the screaming when I heard the boy's voice. But as quick as I could I recovered from my mental panic and turned in the direction of the boy until I saw him.

Oh his hair is blue, what a pretty blue.

I waited for the question to sync in before I replied a little to quickly, "Xion, my name is Xion it's um... nice to meet you?"

How much did he see earlier?

[Haraken]

I was shopping; just a normal, everyday thing to do. I liked shopping. It seemed like the only normal thing I ever got to do anymore. A nice break from research, from searching for Kanna's ghost.

I pulled a bottle of milk out of a fridge, closed the door, started taking a shortcut through the fish aisle, looking for the right direction to get to what I needed, when I stopped because I saw a familiar face.

"Sini?" I asked quietly, recalling the person I'd met once or twice, a few months ago. We were sort of friends now, which was nice. He was talking to someone I didn't recognize, kneeling in front of the fish tank.

[Aqua]

"Nice to meet you too... So... Were you having fun with the fishy?" Smiling again I cock my head to the side in question. "... Erm... I mean..." Okay now I can shut up and I do, hoping I didn't say anything to weird or uncomfortable. I mean come on, what guy goes up to a girl and asks her about a fishy? I really am turning sociably weird it seems.

I then add in a quick rush and hopefully a good recovery, "So do you like fish?" Good an open ended question, not worries. Yeah!

[Xion]

I stood up from the kneeling in front of the glass container and turned more towards Sini. A backed-up a bit for personal space then let the question set. So the kid obviously saw me pick up the fish by the tail, but I still had no way of knowing why they contained the species, and luckily with an open question like that I could go off without sounding odd.

"Well of course I like fish. Fried, baked, steamed..." I got quiet for a second then coughed, "Um except catfish, pretty to look at not much fun to eat."

[Aqua]

"Cool, I like fried fish too... Although I like Koi best," Shrugging my shoulders I add. "Cause they're like dogs ya know."

[Xion]

"You eat dogs?" I asked a little bit too quickly with a very, very concerned look on my face. I mean heck, even demons don't eat dogs, if they are in the Otherworld we keep them as pets and from what I've heard human dogs just bark at us.

Well, I lost this at Koi, I'm assuming it's a type of fish.

[Aqua]

Blinking I flush and then shake my head fiercely, "No, no, no! I meant they're my favorite fish, like I won't eat fav kinda fish...! And they're only like dogs and..." I cover my face with a hand, realizing this is hopeless. "Look, sorry if I wound weird... I don't mean to scare ya off or nuthin'."

[Xion]

I started giggling almost immediately after he said 'I don't mean to scare ya off or nuthin'. It was silly because this was not a scary conversation, more so odd.

"You aren't scaring me off, I misunderstood you I'm sorry."

[Aqua]

I let out a deep breath of air, relaxing and running a nervous hand through my spikes, "Eh-heh-heh... Right, sorry... Didn't mean to freak on ya." I then drop my hand and ask. "Sooooo... Are you new here?"

[Haraken]

I sighed; Sini hadn't noticed me, so I walked forward and cleared my throat. I needed to make the effort... I didn't know why, but I did.

"H-Hi, Sini."

[Aqua]

Jumping I glance over my shoulder before beaming, "Hey, long time no seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.......... Hara...ken? Right?"

[Haraken]

I nodded. "Yeah. Who... who's this?" I looked over at the black-haired girl questioningly. "Are you.... new?"

[Aqua]

"Oh?" I look back to Xion. "She's Xion... Right, Xi?"
