Clueless in Aisle 4[Closed]

[Xion]

At the point they were talking I was already examining what appeared to be fish food. So when I heard my name, and apparently a nickname and jumped a bit and turned to them.

"Um yeah, that's my name." I paused a bit and pointed to myself while putting down the fish food. "Xion... Xi...various spellings." I turned back over looking at the little fish in what is labeled as a 'fish tank' and then turned back to the two.

"Yeah, I'm new. I was looking for my brother and then I kind of got distracted and ended up in here. My brother probably ditched me again and ended up going to another town. It's fine, he'll have to come back at some point."

I looked away and picked back up the fish food and started looking at the contents again, then whispered to myself, "Not that I really want him to..."

[Aqua]

My eyes narrow a moment at that before I laugh and play an arm over her shoulders, "Family problems, huh? I know exactly how those go~... Hey, ya need a place to stay? Ma recently revamped out house and we've gotta helluva lotta room now... Whatcha say, Xi?"

[Xion]

I seriously doubt humans are usually this hospitable

I looked at him for a second after his offer. It was odd and usually not something I'd have said immediately. Although it's not like he's some 40 year old man; he's a teen!

I raised an eyebrow and attempted to keep casual, "Really? and your mother wouldn't mind at all? even though you've only known me for like..." I looked up at a clock hanging on the wall over in a different aisle, "4 1/2 minutes?"

I put the fish food back on the counter and looked back over at the two again.

[Aqua]

"Yep," The "p" makes an audible popping sound as I smile brightly and then laugh. "Ma is all about helping the kids... Yeah, besides... I think She'd like you anyways... You're, uh, well..."

Shrugging and rolling my eyes and head towards Haraken, I really, REALLY hope he works as a good wing-man. I mean come on... Do I really need one to get a girl to stay at my Mama's house...? Seems like it... Oh... Please get the message Goggles!

[Haraken]

I nodded. "I... I'm sure Aqua would... let you stay..." I said, his eyes flickering back and forth between his friend and this new girl. There was something off about her, but I didn't know what. "But... shouldn't you ask her, Sini...? Before you assume things..."

[Aqua]

I frown, "If I know my mother, and I do, she'll be ecstatic to have girl in the house." Glancing to Xion, I give a sheepish smile. "Although I should ask her before you get to unpack... Although she's so barely in it recently I'd be surprised if she notices you at all~."

[Xion]

I looked at the two during their conversation, Sini seemed to be very excited to have a guest and Hakaren's reaction was what I expected more. I looked at Sini when he was finally directing the conversation at me. It was very interesting how much he insisted, so I shrugged and just gave in.

"Alright, fine." I said attempting to be a bit cheery. I was starting to get a headache.

[Aqua]

Hmmm... Her tone of voice isn't so sure, "I'm bugging ya huh?"

[Xion]

"No, no not at all!" I said a bit louder than I usually speak, then I grabbed my head when I felt a sharp pain go through my skull. But kept eye contact and didn't show pain in my face.

Oh Vanitas, what are you doing?

"I'm just, a bit nervous since I don't really know you or your mother. I But I'll be fine, sorry if I sounded unsure or anything."

Well you are asleep I'm guessing so did you hit your head on a rock or something? I'll see later...

[Aqua]

Hmmmm...

I nod to her and then smile softly, "Right... So... Um..." Gaaaaahhhhh, what do I say? Brain why you no work? Its because I'm staring into her pretty eyes isn't it?

Sininen!

Get a grip!

"... Soooooooo I'm only somewhat weird then, cool... Uh... If you, uh..." And now the best plan of action is to SHUT UP... Which I am very effectively doing right now.

[Xion]

is he okay?

I put my hand down from my head and raised my eyebrow for a second before poking Sini in the forehead and looking at Haraken, "Did I break him?" I laughed and then looked back over at Sini, "I've never heard a person break up their sentences this much before."

[Haraken]

"Ano...." I shook my head, then swapped back to English. "He's.... probably nervous.... Sini... gets like this, sometimes."

Usually around a girl. BUt I didn't really feel comfortable saying that.

[Aqua]

Brake me?

Nope!

I am fine, tongue isn't working well with my brain, but fine~!

Staring at the two of them I blink, the let out a quick snort of laughter, "I'm fine... And I am not nervous Haraken." I shoot him a very pointed look of 'thanks'... A rather sarcastic look of thanls. "I mean... Its not like females make me tongue tied or nuthin'~."

Blatant lie, but meh...

"Anyways... What... are we doing?"

I listened to both of them and came to the conclusion that Sini did this with most girls, Haraken was trying to cover him, and he was trying to direct the subject away from him.

Luckily, I can take a hint.

"Oh yeah, I was doing something... what was it... oh yeah!" I quickly ran out of the aisle shouting, "I'll be back in a second."

I found myself running into another aisle about 3 aisles down, and it was luckily, a food aisle. Lots of meat, packaged meat. One of the few human like things my town actually had. I picked up one of the meats to look at a sticker and it said the price was $24.95.

Wait.... what?

"That was... Okay then, WE'LL WAIT HERE!" Sini then looks to Haraken with a laugh. "Sooooooo how've you been, Gog... Specks?"
