Clueless in Aisle 4[Closed]

"Um, excuse me?" I said as I walked up to a man in a red apron and the All-mart logo on it and spoke, "What does it mean by 24.95?"

The man raised his eyebrow and replied, "The price you pay. 25 dollars pretty much."

I got really confused and asked, "Like... sand dollars? What are these dollars?"

"Oh my gosh, you're foreign aren't you? Pounds? Yen? Euros?." He got quiet replying until he said, "Maam do you understand me?"

"Um... no... but, I don't have dollars but I have 24 diamond pieces I could trade in for it."

"This isn't a barter system, we don't live in the dark ages."

"I can tell, there are plenty of lights, but what do you mean there is no barter system? I just bought corn the other day for my cat."

"Maam, are you high?"

I looked down for a second at my feet then back at him, "No, I appear to be at ground level."

The man slapped his own forehead and yelled to a nearbye woman in an apron, "Someone's fresh from off the crazy train over here."

The doctor watches the girl with a small smile, yes, they know she is foreign. It walks over and says kindly, I am so sorry, she wondered off when I wasn't looking... I'm her guide you see, she's from a very poor country and doesn't understand many customs of...well... anywhere... Anyways, I shall be paying for that for her.

Avidity smiles down to Xion, Was that all you wanted, Dear?

I looked at the person now talking to me, it was kind of odd, but this wasn't the first person to do this today. Huh, maybe all humans are kind.

"Um, yeah... that's it." I said, playing along, it was still odd but I went with it.

[Xion]

After a few minutes, I started to feel odd. My head was starting to hurt again and this person wasn't helping me at all. I stared at them a few seconds longer before my mind started talking to me.

They know something, this guy knows something is off... why would he be so nice to you suddenly? get out of here now, get back to Sini and Haraken.

I stepped back and waited for the man in the apron to walk away, then I turned to the person and bowed slightly, "Well thank you very much, I really do appreciate it, but I have to go."

Avi frowns but just nods as s/he pays for the girl's food and hands it to her, Alright... But don't get hurt on your way out, little one. By nature the doctor is creepy, but in reality they can be sweet sometimes too, not always wanting to do thing for themselves...

Although, most times this isn't the case...

I realized when they frowned I was being rude, but at that point I was excused. When they gave me the food I was about to say something until they held out a business card. I stared at it for a second before reaching out and accepting it.

"Thank you very much, I really appreciate it." I bowed again then ran off back into the fish aisle. When I saw the blue-haired boy and the boy with glasses I knew I was in the same zone.

"Sorry, I'm... kind of obsessed with..." I looked at the label then read it out loud, "Chicken."

[Aqua]

I just beam to her, "Naw, its okay... So... Chicken, huh?" Cheapest and most commonly breed bird. Sweet. A girl with simple tastes. That's cool.

[Xion]

I was quiet for a moment before nodding, "Yeah chicken, I like it! Kind of tastes like-"

don't say that that's a demon we butcher as a holiday meal.

"-chicken."

[Aqua]

I laugh and then nod, "Well, I would hope so." And then scratch the back of my head. "So... Uh... What now?"

[Xion]

"Um... I don't really know."

Xion, you listening?

I looked around the fish aisle, I was now very familiar with it, despite only being here one other time before, for a short amount of time, "I got the chicken, that was all I really needed."

I need to wake up.

I closed my eyes for a second and felt something shift, then quickly covered my eyes before opening them, "I- what time is it?"

My dad always told me human eyes were never gold, I didn't care if I had to lie to them and tell them I had some condition, I wasn't going to dare open them.

[Haraken]

"H-Hey, you alright?" I asked her, stepping forward. There was an energy spike, I could see it through the readings my glasses were giving me. "You... don't look so well..."

[Aqua]

I watch concerned before coming up to her as well, "Yeah, you okay?"

[Xion]

I don't care if you're on a mountain tied to an aardvark, get unconscious I need to be.

I really don't like the sound of that and place one hand on her shoulder, other on her side, "Come on, I saw a bench a little ways back." And gently begin to lead her and shoot a look to Haraken. "Pain killers, caffeine, something, anything, just get it."

I was still covering my eyes with my hand, the headache was starting to subside, but I knew my eyes were still gold, no matter what I was doing at this point, if Vanitas didn't stop talking to me, I could be stuck like this for a long time.... try explaining that to someone

"Sini? Sini thank you." I wanted to say something, at least keep some conversation going. I wanted to say something to Haraken, but I didn't know where he was.

Remember when we were little and dad took me out of town. And we both went back and forth being passed out. That is what's happening now Xion. Please let me wake up.. I don't want you to get hurt...
