I face palm, "Yes... Both require it at three fifty I believe... Can you start up the oven? I can butter the pans while you're gone~ Hmmm... Flour...?"

She nodded and then said, "One sec." She went over and grabbed the flour and then put it on the counter next to Namine. Then she set the oven to three fifty, "Being preheated~"

"Thanks," I butter one pan and then sprinkle flour over than. Then repeat the process for the other.

"Okay," Shiki took the vanilla and poured half into a pan, then waited for Namine so she could switch.

I pour chocolate into one before switching sides with Shiki and pouring in the rest of mine into her first pan. Once the bowl is empty I hold up my fork, "Ready to mix more?"

Shiki held up her own fork and said with a grin, "I'll race you. We'll see who can do it faster." With a giggle she said, "One, two, three, go!" And then began to mix the batter in her pan while trying not to have any fly out.

And I do the same, laughing as the mixtures naturally resist each other, wanting to separate, "No, mix darn you~!"

"Harder than I thought!" Shiki struggled with her own mix, though that tiny shred of competitiveness made her keep trying. And, eventually, she managed to get them to merge together. "Yes!" She then finished mixing them and smiled, "Finished!"

I blink and giggle, "Yep, that's definitely marbled! Now... We'll put yours in the bottom and mine on the top, okay?"

Shiki nodded and opened the oven, then went back and got her pan. Placing it on the bottom carefully she then stood back and let Namine put hers in.

I put mine on the top and shut the oven, "Well need mitts to get it out for sure... Unless... Of course... You don't burn at all." My eyes widen in mock shock. "I mean... Never considered that."
