((This is a carry on thread from What Lies Ahead, those who were in are welcome, new comers PM this account and give me a heads up))
Vaan had left the party to do this own investigating, having slipped a hoodie over his head he moved through the store: checking every aisle and every nook and cranny for something suspicious. There were a huge hustle and bustle of people, moving back and forth buying products. There seemed to be a huge influx of people buying this new soft drink that just came out: Virility. He looked at the advertisement on the sign, a large buff shirtless man drinking a green colored energy drink. He looked at the buff man and scoffed.
I wonder if Ashe likes built men.
The thought, odd and unbidden ran through Vaan's head as he rolled up the sleeve of his own shirt and looked out his own muscles. A body builder he was not, built probably wasn't a word he'd use either. He just stared at the sign, for a second a thought ran through his head...there he was, tall and strong and ready for battle. There Ashe was, by his side, ready to fight to the end alongside him. If she were in trouble, he'd be there to save her...
Yeah right. he thought. He grimaced and rolled down his sleeve, moving away from the advertisement and moving around the people by the tasting center. One guy bumped into Vaan, no apologies from him either, Vaan scoffed.
"Watch it jackass." he said, the guy didn't even turn around to that: he just kept pushing through the crowd to get to drink sample area. Vaan just stared at the area in amusement, Lot of hype for this drink...

Lea quickly ducked into All-Mart, looking around.
They were doing some kind of big drink promotion, he saw; probably some kind of new energy drink. Most of that stuff made him sick to his stomach, so he passed on it.
His face scanned the crowd, looking for Vaan; spotting him, he started forward towards him. He was standing next to one of the ads, almost int he middle of the promotion.
"Hey, kid," he said, smiling. "We've been worried aboutcha since you ran out like that. You interested in this stuff?" He tapped a finger lightly against one of the ads. "Most of these energy things give me a stomachache, to be honest..."

Roxas was not at all far behind the red-haired halfer.
"Yeah, Lea's a bit of a girl when it comes to his stomach. I swear, whenever I offer to cook dinner or make drinks, I get this huge and complicated list of all the things it should and shouldn't have in it, how I should do it and the severe detrimental effects that will occur if I don't follow it all by the letter! So if he ever gets me in trouble, I just poison his food or drink with a bit more sugar! Hehehe..."
He grinned at the other two as he worked his way through the crowds before staring long and hard at the advertisement. He narrowed his eyes as if he was in doubt that it even existed.
"But fussy boy's right. This stuff looks like toxic sludge, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole..."

Skipping along now I keep my distance from the group, examining what's there with a frown before laughing silently. Men...
This could be important or this could not be.
As stated earlier this isn't a TV show and things like this are TV show obvious. Frowning to myself I've decided that those two have it covered and slip off to explore more of the store.
Silent as ghost.

Aqua and Sini had gotten into an argument along the way so Midori is the first of those three to show up, his nonchalant stance evident as he walks. His eyes take in everything and he sweeps them over to the three boys, silently slipping through people as if a whisper and barely a touch before coming to rest a few feet from them. He's not good with the whole communication thing, that's his mother and Sini's expertise.
No.
Midori is best at listening and judgement. Though its been said he can be bias and unobservant, he is the only one of the three whom won't bother you if you don't want him to. And that is exactly what he is doing right now. Not being a bother and just listening with a gaze shifting around the crowd, slipping out of peoples way if need be.

"What are-" Vaan started, but when he found his voice was a bit louder than he'd like so he started over, "What are you two doing here?"
"I was about to ask you that."
Vaan grimaced and turned to see Ashe glaring at him, "Ashe...uh..."
"Do you have any idea how close you are for blowing this all for us?" Ashe hissed at him, "Of all the idiotic, reckless things to do this would have screwed us all over."
Vaan felt a twinge of anger run through him and challenged her, "If what I did was such an idiotic action then why are you here: you could have just let me take the fall and then you and your team could move in. But seeing as you're here now, you yourself just blew your own options as well."
Ashe was frozen for a moment, eyes widened in shock and for a moment Vaan thought he won the argument.
Slap!
Vaan reeled back, cheek red, Ashe's hand where his cheek was and her imprint leaving a mark. Vaan managed to look over at her to see her eyes narrowed in anger and hurt.
"Ashe-"
"Why the hell did you think I came here Vaan! Because even though we never met each other before you saved my life and maybe in some twisted way I thought of you as a friend!" she said, "I don't know what the hell is going through your mind but you need to get a grip! The Vaan who saved me was confident and ready, what happened to him?"
"It...it's not that simple, I..." Vaan started to speak but trailed off, Ashe's eyes went a bit softer.
"Vaan...I know losing that woman is hard, but you can't save everyone. You tried your hardest Vaan, you did."
That Vaan knew was not true, he didn't even try to save her first...he was only focused on saving Ashe, that woman was dead because he made the selfish choice. Ashe didn't know that yet and he was ashamed to tell her what ran through his head at the moment.
"I'm sorry," he simply said, Ashe looked at him for a moment - studying him for awhile before she sighed.
"That's a start...well, since we're here lets see if we can quietly poke around."

Shiki slipped up to the group quietly, having missed most of the argument between Ashe and Vaan. With slight interest into what was going on with the two (it was obvious to her Vaan had developed a crush on the girl) she listened partly, the rest of her attention wandering around them.
But when Vaan suggested what to do she gathered her thoughts back together and asked, "Should we stay together or break up?"

Ashe turned to Shiki, "We shouldn't hang together in the same exact group, that could be warranting too much attention we should split up and-"
Loud noises cut her off from the tasting booth of that new drink, she growled and started again, "And-"
The noises got even louder this time and she tried again, "And-"
Once again the cheering and yelling from the booth cut her off, "And what the HELL is going on over there?!"
She turned her attention to the crowd and began angrily pushing her way through, Vaan turned to her and was about to follow when he heard some commotion come two aisle down. There was some yelling there, figuring Ashe could take care of herself he jogged down to where the yell in question happened.

Midori glances between the two before following after Vaan, a large group of people not his specialty. He stays as quiet as he can get and, well, that can be pretty darn silent, like a shadow creeping along the floor.
Aqua and Sini have finally caught up and hear Ashe's shout. They both go running for it like moths to a flame. Neither catching sight of Midori nor Vaan as they pass them.

"Hey, kid, wait!" Lea called, before sighing to himself and taking off after him. "Geez, you're better at spontaneously running off than Neku is," he muttered to himself with a bit of a chuckle
Though he had heard the commotion too. He just wished there'd been more warning that Vaan was going to take off so quickly.
He realized that maybe he shouldn't be associating himself with Vaan, since he was, visually at least, the most distinctive member of the Network present, but it was too late for that and definitely too late to just stay home.
He shrugged and continued following the blonde.

Shiki gave an annoyed look to the crowd, how could they be this hyped for a drink? Yeah, it was probably sugary and everything, not that big of a deal. There was really no reason to freak out about it, at least from her point of view.
At first she thought about following Vaan after he ran off, but then dismissed it seeing others go after him. So she followed after Ashe, wanting to know just as well what all the yelling was about.

Josh and Sophie wandered into the store. They look liked every other customer there, even if they were twins. It took a few moments before they saw Vaan jogging ever-so-anxiously to an aisle. Sophie spotted the little boy from the Veil. The one that said he'd "be willing to work with her". She couldn't help blush for a quick moment. The very next thing they noticed (though you'd think it should have been first) was the very large group of people crowding around something.
"What do you suppose that's about?" Josh couldn't hold back the question. He was a little curious himself.
"I'm going to assume it has something to do with the drink on that display," Sophie hinted and motioned toward the display.
Thinking back to the Veil again, she looked around. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. There were your average number of people for a big store, buying things left and right. What was there to be noticed?

Vaan rounded the corner where the yell came from, he saw someone had grabbed a woman from the aisle - the two were fighting over something. Or the man was trying to grab something and the woman was trying to run, nonetheless Vaan intervened.
"Hey! Let go of her!" he yelled, running over to grab him...when the man turned on Vaan and charged at him, violently and crazed, arms flailing everywhere as he charged at him.

Midori frowns and races forward, plowing into Vaan to send the two off to the side as the guy comes screaming at the blond. Unconsciously throwing up a shield and looking to see what happened to the woman.

Vaan was about to defend himself until Midori plowed into him, he staggered to the side, grabbing his attackers arms and throwing him aside. Once the guy was done he turned to Midori, "What the HELL is your problem!"
Midori was soon to have his hands full, for the women who seemed to be on the ground suddenly sprang up and wrapped her hands around the boy's throat: choking him.
"Oh crap!" Vaan was going to run to him when the guy he knocked down got back up and rushed at him again, Vaan grabbed him by the head as he passed and used his own speed to make him charge into one of the shelves.
