Dark Impetus (Open)

[Roxas]

"Oh... Now we're following someone!" Roxas said with a raised eyebrow, before clenching his fists down by his sides and then raising them high above his head. He opened his palms and solidified the air between them and the press of the crowd who had drank this poison or whatever it was. "That should hold them back..." He muttered with a firm nod, as he set off after the others, using leaps provided by compressed air beneath his feet to swiftly catch up to the others, flipping into the middle of their little group.

Now that they were after a real target, he could get somewhat more serious. Swinging his hands down to his side, two swords appeared within his palms.

[Josh and Sophie]

Josh began to move forward, but Sophie caught his arm. "Are you sure we should just follow--" She began.
Josh cut her off. "Of course. How will we be able to figure out what's really going on if that person has the drink?"

Sophie paused for a moment before answering, switching from holding Josh's arm to his hand. "Okay. I guess you're right. -- Hold tight."

And with that, before Josh could sputter a "what", her aura flickered slightly and she jumped up into the air, Josh dragged behind her. They jumped higher than normal, and landed on a platform softly. Sophie was improvising a little. She'd used some air to push them upwards.

"How did you do that?" Josh blurted out.

"I just controlled a little air to make our jump higher, that's all. -- But if you jump this time, it'll be a little easier to do." She smiled. "Ready?"

"O-okay," Josh began, and they jumped further, eventually catching up with everyone else.

Vaan ignored the voices behind him and pressed forward, the figure smirked and then took off running. The can of Virility energy drink in his hand, for the most part Vaan was able to keep up and even more so the person was beginning to run out of places to run on.

"What's going on now?"

Vaan turned to see the floating light that usually accompanied him during Crossings appear, "Chasing someone, its about to end real soon though."

Indeed it was, the person finally ran out of spots to leap to. Vaan drew his sword.

"Its over! Give us the drink now!"

"Wait..." the floating light spoke, "That person..."

The figure still did not speak, instead he glowed with a red aura...and the Crossing began to shudder.

"...That's Malice...that energy is Malice!"

"What?! What's Malice?!" Vaan yelled as the red light burst and blinded everyone, when the light subsided the Crossing...changed. The skies were not red anymore, but black, rain poured down from no visible clouds, and the platforms went from an earthy substance to a metallic look - like city buildings. The figure was gone, now standing on a completely new platform that was above the them.

He snapped his fingers and smaller platforms rose to create stairs to reach him, after that was done he continued to run off.

[Lea]

"Oh, you've gotta be shitting me!" Lea growled, putting on a burst of speed in pursuit of the floating figure. "I hate engineered Crossings like this! For all we know we might've been drawn through or something, this seriously, seriously sucks!"

Fire sparked into life in the air around him, and he snarled, baring his fangs.

"When I catch up to you, I'm going to rip you apart!"

[Shiki]

Shiki, in response to what Lea said, made an annoyed sound before saying, "Like we don't have enough problems already to deal with!" They really didn't need anything else happening on top of all that was going on. Unable to do anything but keep going, she continued to follow the figure.

I follow Shiki's lead, a flash of blue tells me Aqua and gang does the same.
