Chocking him, not what he expected. And though shocking Midori isn't all that hard, his survival instincts kick in pretty quickly. He brings a fist up at the woman's stomach, hoping punching her hard enough will make her let go... I mean... He has no problems with beating the crap outta females if they attack him first...

"Hey lady!" Roxas' voice calls as he skids to a halt next to Midori, before placing the flat of his palm against the woman's stomach. He started to built up a solid burst of air in front of his palm, not enough to damage internal organs, start internal bleeding or blow a hole in the woman's stomach, but just enough to hopefully push her away from Midori. Hell, he'd already punched her in the gut once, so he doubted that she had that much grip left on him.
"Stop getting touchy-feel-y!" He growled as he released the bolt of air, aiming to push the woman away from Midori.
"You've not even bought him dinner yet."

Ashe had finally emerged from the crowd, disgruntled, holding one of those green energy drinks in her hand. She looked at it with a frown, "Jeez so much hype over a stupid drink...what's so great about this anyway?"
Mikhail was moving through the aisle when he caught up to Ashe, he also looked at the crowd oddly. "What is going on here...?"

Meanwhile Vaan, Roxas, and Midori had fought off the two attackers. Vaan walked the woman and flipped her over, "Lady what is-HOLY SHIT!"
He jumped back quickly, and understandably, the woman's eyes were an unnatural green...a glowing green, the veins around her eyes were also green and lead all the way around her face. He looked at the face and turned to the two people.
"What the hell is this?"

"Not good, that's what it is!" Lea growled, having finally made it over to where Vaan was after being caught in the crowd. "Looks like that green stuff gives you more than a stomachache and a sugar rush."
He stood, ready to fight back if anything got dangerous, and for once, growled at the nature of his powers. Usually, he liked being the resident pyro - but in a situation like this, his powers were completely useless.First, he'd set all kinds of alarms off - which might be useful for evacuating the premises, but he didn't know if that was needed yet - and second, if these people could be helped, hitting them with balls of fire would be a bad thing. Humans were.... adversely susceptible... to large balls of fire.

Vaan looked at the two people on the ground and his eyes trailed around the area...and there he found it, a Virility can...green liquid coming out of the 14 ounce can. Vaan looked at the energy drink and then back to the people in question and his eyes widened in shock. Quickly he turned and ran back down the aisle back to the crowd where he left Ashe.
"I found Vaan and we are looking around," Ashe explained, looking at the energy drink and opening it. Vaan rounded the corner and to his horror he saw Ashe about to put her lips to the tab of the drink.
"DON'T DRINK IT!" He yelled, causing Ashe to turn to him and lower the can.
"Vaan?" she asked as he ran to her. "What's going on-"
"The drinks are poisonous!" Vaan exclaimed, pointing to the energy drink. "Look at the people who are drinking it!"
"What? Vaan don't be ridiculous." she said, until Mikhail tapped her shoulder.
"Ashe..." he guided her head to the people drinking said energy drink, their eyes were glowing green and veins began to shift color.
"Oh god..." Ashe looked at everyone in disgust.

The things that creeped Shiki out surprised her. Demons and anything around that usually didn't bother her, she was used to it. But regular people with glowing green eyes? That sent a shiver down her spine. "I am never, ever drinking anything having to do with energy drinks ever again."
She looked at the people uneaslily, "So...how exactly do we handle this one?"

Sighing I skip back over as crap begins to go down. Frowning I nod in agreement with Shiki, "Good question... What the heck is going on? How do we deal with this sorta thing?" Demons are one thing... Humans are a whole new one...

Sini whistles, "Well hawt dayum... this is some serious shiz..." He stretches and watches wide eyed. "Suggestion... We stop others from drinking this crap."
Aqua watches wide eyed as Midori comes running up, having followed Vaan. He places a hand on his mother's shoulder, comforting her.

"Yeah, but how do we do that?" Lea asked, coming to stand next to them. "We need a plan of action. I could set off the fire alarms and get everyone but the current bad guys outta here...." He thought for a moment. "Or we could interrupt the display, destroy the stuff, but I don't know if it's toxic to touch or just to drink. And I don't want to find out what it would do to someone like me." He sighed. "Whatever we do, they'll probably figure out it's us doing it, anyway. We don't have a lotta options..."

"I can handle the people in here..." Roxas said with a small nod as he gathered the air pressure into his palms, ready to throw them like projectiles. He took a deep breath as he looked back at the others. "I can keep them at bay without hurting them, plus I can easily get the hell out of here if things don't go as I want..." He turned his attention back to the encroaching crowd. "Maybe you guys should figure out how to stop them properly, y'know, without killing them?"
He had one niggling thought at the back of his mind though, Fuukushu. As far as he'd seen, whenever he toed the line between pacifism and violence, the spirit seemed to lunge forwards and press towards the surface, and losing control of that was not what he wanted now at all... Definitely not. Still, he'd kept him in check so far, he should be able to do it now with little to no issue.

Josh and Sophie were rounded into the rest of the gang, followed by a very husky guy that was mimicing the display. He'd looked at them, Josh doing most of the staring, and was evidently going to ask if he had a staring problem. But then his face began to change to a sickly green, even his eyes. The twins doublebacked and started walking a little uncomfortably away from his direction.
"Okay. I'm going to ask this time," Sophie started. "Does anybody know what's going on?" The man placed a hand on Sophie's shoulder, and she turned and pressed her hand on his chest. He was blown backwards to the floor. He stayed laying, half in shock, half in...something else.

Ashe gasped at Sophie's situation and Vaan pointed, "That's pretty much what's going on." He looked at the drink in Ashe's hand and said to the others, "Not just that, we need to see what this drink is...we should take it back and study it, figure out whats making people act like this." Ashe nodded, "Seems like a good course, we should-" Then it happened, the wave of danger washed over them and suddenly the environment violently changed. Harmless displays turned disgusting, red bloodish tints over the lights, spikes and dried blood cake shelves...a Crossing. "Damnit," Vaan drew his blade, ready to strike...when he heard Ashe yell out, he turned and saw she was knocked over. "Ashe what happened?" Ashe shook her head as Mikhail pulled her up, "Something hit me...oh no, the energy drink, our sample!" She looked for it, hoping it had fell on the floor...until they heard someone clearing their throat. Ashe and Vaan looked up and there was a man, in all black robes sitting on the shelf and looking at him. The energy drink in his hand, Ashe pulled her hand back to strike him but Vaan grabbed her hand. "You can't smash the drink! We need it!" "We can get another one!" Ashe argued. "We don't know that! By the time we get out of this all the samples may be ingested by the people here, I can't take that risk." he turned to the hooded man, who smirked at Vaan. "Give it back!" " Follow" The hooded figure tossed the can in the air lightly, catching in his hand...before standing up - pieces of the wall ripped themselves out and formed a pathway leading up. The figure jumped on the pathway and began to run, Vaan widened his eyes and took off - leaping on the platforms and giving pursuit. "Vaan wait stop!" Ashe growled, quickly giving chase. |

"Follow, follow, follow," I mumble before sighing, glad I stashed more ammo while stalking to store. Then I push off the ground and take off, digging into the ground with all I have. "I swear all we ever do is follow." My feet carrying after the three easily.

"Crap!" Sini takes after Namine and Midori after him, both at a matched pace. Shaking her head, Aqua snaps outta it. The crossing jerking her into action, but everyone taking chase confusing her a moment. But then she just growls and glances to everyone still there before taking off herself.

Shiki sighed to herself, "Here we go again." Without wasting another moment she ran after the group giving chase. She matched herself up with Aqua's pace, determinded not to be left that far behind.
