Shizuo was sat within one of the booths in the Veil with his arms spread out over the seats, his head tilted back and an unlit cigarette lying limply in his lips. He wished to god that he could take a lighter to it, but he resisted the urge, much to his own distaste... He was waiting for someone to bring him a meal that he'd ordered earlier, nothing too fancy, just an omelette with ham and cheese really, but when he was this hungry, he wasn't about to complain about whatever they put in front of him.
Two empty beer bottles were sat in front of him on the table, and a half-empty one sat a little bit closer to him, easily within arms reach. As if to prove it, one long arm reached across, grabbed the bottle by the neck, and dragged it up to his lolling head, where he took a short pull on the beer, before setting it back down again. He let out a small sigh, waiting for his food to arrive. He heard footsteps moving forwards.
He looked up, expecting food, only to find that it wasn't quite a waitress approaching...

Aqua had arrived a minute or so ago and now approaches Shizuo with a grin, "Hey." Her greeting is short as she pulls out a chair to join him. "You don't mind if I join you, right?" Her grin has morphed into a halfway shy smile now.
"How is your day going?"

"Huh... Not gonna' lie, I was expecting a waitress..." He chuckled slightly as he checked his watch. "You're a little late..." OH THE IRONY He shrugged after the statement before straightening up his posture and resting his elbows against the table. He narrowed his eyes as Aqua nervously asked him how his day had been.
"Why are you still... Like that..?" He asked cautiously.

He smiled and set his beer down, before reaching out and poking her nose lightly.
"Like that." He teased, resting halfway across the table on his elbows. "You're always so shy, and timid... Isn't it your kids jobs to be afraid of me and stuff? Hell, I'll let you in on a secret." He looked around conspiratorially, before muttering.
"Sini even calls me Dad some times."
He leaned back, nodding slowly and trying to look cool. He was failing horribly however. He was kind of grinning like an idiot and was even blushing slightly.
"But yeah! You're always so quiet... You're not like, scared of me or anything are you?"

She smiles and giggles softly before replying, "No... I am not scared of you, Shizuo... You just... Make me feel happy and a bit shy because of how much I like you and care about you."

Shizuo returned the chuckle.
"And here was me thinking I'd left middle-school, huh..?" He said with a small smile as he shuffled further around the table so he was more sat next to Aqua than opposite her. He rested his elbow against the table and placed his head in his palm, whist his other hand reached under the table and curled around hers. He smiled softly, an odd expression for the strongest man in Urbadelphia.
"Y'know, you don't have to be so scared to say it. We're adults, believe it or not." He leaned forwards, moving from the perch of his hand, which moved out to lightly touch Aqua's cheek. He fitted his face in against hers, their noses brushing against one another, barely centimetres distance between them, he smiled teasingly, giving her hand an affectionate squeeze.
"I love you."
He closed the last of the distance, placing a soft kiss against Aqua's lips, hiding away from his own goofy, childish grin.

She gives him a gentle smile, "I love you too, Shizuo." Her hand reaches out and lays itself over the male's.

He couldn't hide the slight flush of pink in his cheeks, and happily stayed as close to Aqua as possible, only moving away when a waiter came along and served him his omelette, chips, bacon and sausages and another beer, as per his order. Now that he had food in front of him, to say he felt greedy was an understatement. One hand still clinging to Aqua's he spoke.
"Want anything to eat or drink? It's on me. I'm celebrating."

She leans closer and pecks his cheek - flushing the whole while - before nodding, "I'm thinking a chocolate shake..."

Shizuo smiled slyly from out of the corner of his mouth as he looked up at the Waiter, his face suddenly taking on it's usual sullen and stern expression as his eyes narrowed.
"You heard the lady. One chocolate shake, please."
The Waiter nodded and turned, leaving the pair to themselves. Shizuo looked back to Aqua, his expression softening once again as he started hacking away at the meal in front of him with his knife, taking slow and considerate bites, occasionally looking up at Aqua. Eventually, he failed to suppress a chuckle.
"I feel awkward... Having you watch me eat, I mean."

"Don't be," Aqua smiles brightly and gives a soft giggle. "Besides, think of it as pay back for all the times you've watched me eat breakfast."

"Ahh... Touché..." He admitted with a nod, scratching the back of his head slightly before going back to his meal. He waited for a few more mouthfuls before hovering his cutlery over his plate and looking back at Aqua, smiling awkwardly again.
"Alright, come on... Is this really what it's like? When I watch you have breakfast?"

"Hmm... I don't know... I must assume not because I don't think you're noting every adorable thing that you do while you eat," She places her head on her hand, leaning her elbow on the table. "But if you want I'll look else where."

Shizuo nodded and almost went back to his food again, before he froze in mid motion, and suddenly looked up at Aqua with a worried expression painted across his face.
"Wait... Wait-wait-wait. WHAT?!" He suddenly seemed very conscious of every little thing he was doing. "What adorable things I do when I eat?! What do I do?!"
