"Yes," Aqua nods as he walks away and turns to head back into the meeting. She has to ask Shiki for help anyways. So she hangs close to the edges as she waits for a moment with the girl.

Shiki watched Sora leave, wondering what he was up to. She'd leave him to it though; there were things she had to do too. Besides, he wasn't stupid. She looked back at Neku and waited for an answer to Namine's question.

He shook his head. "Another meeting will be called when we know more; no use trying to set a time for that. I'll have Shiki contact you all when Alan and Erica get back to us with info." Alan and Erica being the two I'd assigned to do some mapping and investigative work. "In the meantime - everyone do your own research." If they could be bothered, lazy-asses that they were. "We're done here."
The feeling in the room was, honestly, relief. Not relief that there was someone doing something about the emergency, but relief that the meeting was over.
Sometimes, I wonder why I bother with this town.

I stood from my chair and glanced around at the others that had started to leave. "I'll go and check some things out." I said before making my way to the door, I was no expert on demons but they weren't exactly subtle and sometimes the signs of demon activity could be pretty obvious.

I nodded at the guy who was leaving. "Thanks.... hey, I don't think I caught your name." I walked over to him, held out a hand. "It's Neku, but you probably already know that."

As the meeting ended, Shiki sighed. Time to get some things taken care of. She walked over to Namine, still wondering if the girl was angry with her. "Uh, Namine," she asked carefully, "Can I have your cell number? It makes these things easier." She offered the girl a sheepish smile, hoping that the blond wouldn't be as upset as she had been before.

I turned and started to walk back to my spot. What a mess. What did I get myself involved into? I waved over to a waiter and made my order. Something strong, anything strong. I'm not doing any fighting today. I hope not at least.

Lea returned to his real job after that; he noticed Aya, ursing a drink, but he'd been tending bar long enough to know when someone needed to talk, and when they needed to drink alone.
He simply passed her waiter something strong whenever she needed a refill, and left it at that.

I looked towards Neku as he came over to me and smiled, readily returning his handshake. "The name's Zack." I replied, I could remember seeing the person in front of me not long ago when I'd first visited the bar but I'd never spoken to him until now. "It's nice to meet you, Neku."

She pull out a piece of paper from the bag around her waist. "Paper; I'm more organized that way." Shiki handed it to Namine and waited.

Namine quickly wrote down her number and smiles to Shiki, "Well... Better get going before Angel figures out I'm missing... And besides, looks like another person wants to talk with you." I point to Aqua whom has been shooting glances over our way for some time now. "So... TTYL then?"

Shiki put the number in her pocket and smiled at Namine. The girl didn't seem to be upset anymore. She nodded, "Yeah, I'll see you soon." Then she walked over to Aqua. "Hi Aqua. Did you want to talk to me?"

Shiki blinked and stared at Aqua, her mind processing the rush of words that she'd just said. After a moment she figured it out, and she thought it over. Did she know of a safe place? Yeah she did, quite well. She'd spent a long time there before. Shiki nodded and looked at the clearly worried mother. "I know a city a little far from here that takes in Otherborn for whatever reason. They'll be safe there, I know from first hand experience."
