Blue eyes glance to the side a little while Aqua travel's mainly by memory, only looking forward when her mind panicked that they would run into something. Shizuo was being quiet again, most likely lost in thought like he was a moment ago- Her cheeks light up and she loses her concentration and almost runs into a corner while moving faster out her being suddenly being flustered. Thankfully she gets a grip after that and say rather nervously, "Whoops!" She then pauses a moment before, "Thinking again?"

Shizuo nodded "Yeah! I'm just lost in thought again I guess" he chuckled "But I think you're the one who needs to concentrate, not me, I'm not nearly walking into walls and such" he smiled as he placed a hand against her cheek, just happy to even be in the situation "If you're so flustered and out of it, you must be thinking yourself... Am I right?"

Shizuo shrugged at the comment "Mostly just how until now I've never really fit in with people, being a halfer, no demons who knew my father would train me, and at that time no-one really had organized the Otherborn into The Network" he scratched the back of his head "I've always been a bit of a loner I guess... Hehe..."

Aqua lets out a little laughter, softly and shaking her head, "Ah. I see." Her nerves calming down and she smiles brightly. "Rest assured that being a halfer doesn't change anything about you, never will... And I'm sorry that it took so long for us to bump into each other."

Shizuo shrugged "You make out that it's your fault that we've not met yet, and I'm pretty sure that there's nothing either of us could have done about not bumping into each other yet!" he gave her a smile and her hand a small squeeze "And as for the halfer thing? Well, I don't know... There's always that side of me y'know? When I fly into a rage, I'm not me... It's like I can't control myself, I sometimes wish I was just a plain Otherborn, capable of controlling what I have"

"I understand, but even being an Otherborn is dangerous... Take for instance I thought of you as danger," Aqua replies quickly and in Shizuo's defense. "Especailly to my children! I would fly into a blind rage as well and then, well, its obviously better to have strength than to summon objects to your aid. And obviously I would be the one to fall in that instance, thus leaving my children to defend for themselves." She nods to herself as she finishes.
"So... I think that however you're made was for a reason... And besides... If you were just Otherborn I wouldn't of trusted you so easily given your age," She smiles brightly at this and laughs to herself. "I'd be afraid you would of hated me for having kids with a demon... Now... Where was I? Right, being an Otherborn is just as much of a curse as being a Halfer."

Shizuo shrugged "I think there's a slight difference between when you rage and when I rage, when you go off on one you don't start throwing people across town or hit them with a tree trunk or something heavier. Plus, when you do, you do it with valid reason like you mentioned then with your boys. Insulting my cousin or ripping my suit is not a valid reason for the actions that usually follow afterwards."
He pondered the thought of being 'made for a reason' before an idea hit him "Well... In the Other world, Halfers are used as slaves and nothing more, they're the personal play things of whatever lord it is they're unfortunate enough to serve under and there's nothing they can do about it. I say that those of us privileged enough to be born on this side of that veil, need to see it as their duty to help those on the other side in any way that they can, even in the little amounts, stopping malicious crossings and the like"

Aqua thinks over what Shizuo says before nodding, "Yes... Yes, I agree." She then gives his hand a small tug. "If we stay standing her long enough I'm sure someone will try to jump us." She then begins to walk again, slowly, but surely forward.

"Um... Well..." Aqua flushes as they turn the last corner onto Main Street. "Guess not..." She sighs and then lets Shizuo take the lead.

Shizuo halted for a moment "It isn't far, but I'll tell you what, I'll go the rest of the way myself, I'm a big boy and can look after myself... Besides, Tom gets back today so I'll probably be called out before I get home anyways" he smiled down at Aqua "Which reminds me, you'll need to come round for dinner one time, I'll invite Tom and Kasuka over, you could bring some friends over and the boys too if they're back by then!"

Aqua was about to protest when she realises what's happening, she's gotten WAY to comfortable, and this could end up badly if she isn't careful. So she gives a small smile and nods, "I'll invite... Shiki maybe... Unless the boys are back... Then it might be better for them to meet you on their own." She nods and lets go of his hand.
"...Good bye then?"

He nodded "Sounds good! Who you bring would be up to you, but I agree that it might be easier to meet the boys just on their own" when she said goodbye he simply returned the favor, muttered "Goodbye" before placing a hand on the side of her neck, tilting her face up towards his, leaning closer and kissing her. It wasn't as short nor as nervous as it was earlier. Everything was in the open now, Shizuo felt confident in something other than his ability to hurt people for a change.

Aqua's eyes widen a little bit before she gently wraps her arms around his shoulders, tilts her head a little, and kisses back happily. A part of her coming to life from their kiss and yet another part dying farther. Either way, this was perfect.
