Huh. I coulda sworn i'd have reached it by now... My tired legs carried me onward; past buildings I've never bothered to enter before and people I've never met. Last time I payed her a visit, it didn't take nearly this long. Am I... Am I even in Tokyo anymore? I wondered as I started to read the signs of the nearby buildings. Picking the building whose sign read "All-Mart", I walked inside and marched up to the clerk. "Excuse me sir, but can you tell me where in Japan I am right now?"

Urbadelphia. Already discovered it. And I've been here for an hour. I've explored some of the town. But I was thirsty. I could probably go work off a bottle of water or something at the local store.
Mama had taught me how to read the human language. The store sign read "All-Mart," and "Mart" implied it was a store. And stores had water... The doors opened automatically, and it kind of spooked me a little. But it was convenient. I walked in, the weight of the masks in my bag not feeling so heavy now that I could relax in the cool air.
"Excuse me sir, but can you tell me where in Japan I am right now?" I hear this from just beside me. I turn and a much taller, blonde-haired man was pestering the person who worked there. I tug on his jean legging. "Sir... This is not Japan..." Talking still felt really weird.

I immediately look down at the young boy next to me. "Wait, are you serious?!" I yell out, astonished yet excited. Not Japan anymore? Does that mean... that this is a new adventure?! "Wow! I was so lost in thought that I had no idea whatsoever! Well, where are we then? Are there lot's of mountains, and desserts? How about treasure? Maybe monsters? Oh man, i'm so excited! Oh, my name is Ginta! What's yours?" I couldn't keep myself from spilling absolutely everything on my mind at the moment. I tried, but honestly I couldn't hold it back. I probably looked ridiculous too, but I didn't care at all at the moment.

"...Link. This is a town called Urbadelphia... There are mountains closeby, but I don't know about deserts..." This was weird. "Adventure...? That's... an interesting word for it. But I guess so..." A smile crosses my face. "We could find treasure! I love finding treasure! And we can beat up the bad guys! And get really strong! It's gonna be fun, Ginta!"

My first friend, and so soon! This is going to be amazing! Just like last time! "Exactly! This is soo great! The only problem is that I have no idea whats going on!" I said, and started laughing. "So do you think we need anything from this store? I'm sure we can work off our purchases or something, seeing as I'm broke." I rambled, starting to wander around the store. Looking down one of the aisles, something caught my eye... "Hey, Link. Come look! I found treasure!" Immediately excited by the treasure chest that was now locked into my sight, I ran down the aisle, tripping before I could reach it.

I chase after him with a smile. Well, this guy is better than Navi or Tatl, that's for sure. I recount the two fairies that had bothered me in the forest when I lived with Mama. I laugh when he trips. "Oh well, Ginta! Looks like it's mine!" I laugh out, going over to the chest, nearly falling as I stop before it. I kick the chest, the top opening slightly. I open it, and hold the treasure far above my head, humming the slightest "da-da-da-daaa." "Ginta! It's a water bottle! Want some?!"

Only a water bottle? That can't be right... OH WELL! Treasure is treasure! "Hecks yes I do! It's our first piece of treasure!" I run over to Link and snatch the water bottle out of his hand. "We'll split it half and half!" I say as I down half of it immediately, almost drowning myself. "Here!" I toss the rest back to Link and look into the chest once more. "Hey, there's something else in here... Looks like a stone." I say as I pick the stone out of the chest. "Wonder what this could be..." I mumble to myself.

"Hey! That was my treasure! Why do you get it first?" I pout, but down my bottle just as fast as Ginta did. I look at the bottle, now empty, but store it in my pack. You never know... "What is it?" I ask, rushing over as soon as he started talking. "Is it more water?! That'd be cool!"

I laugh quite loudly at his remark. "Nope, no more water! It's a stone. It kinda reminds me of these magic stones that popped up everywhere back on my last adventure..." I remember Babbo and all of the abilities I gave him. "Actually, I think it IS a magic stone..." I said as the chest began to fade away. "I wonder then... If there are any ÄRM in this world. That would be awesome!" I yelled, jumping up and down. "Anyways, where to now Link?" Usually it's not the best idea to let someone younger than you take the lead, but he HAS been here longer apparently.

None of what he just said made any sense. At all. But I shrug at him. "I... don't know..? I'm only here because of the Crossings..." The mention of the word made my bag feel heavier. "I take it you don't know about Crossings, since you don't know where you are, right?" I don't wait for him to answer. "Demons cross over to this world and attack people. They hurt people. And I want to stop them... I don't know what there is to do here."

'Demons', 'attack people', 'and want to stop them' were the only things Link said that I actually registered from his previous statement. "Well, it's clear to me what we do then. We'll work together and stop these demons for good! Two heroes, travelling around and defeating all of the bad demons they come across! How does that sound, partner?" I ask, holding out my hand for him to clasp.

This guy had more energy than I did. And he was a lot older. But I take his hand and smile. "Sure. If you want to help, I won't deny it." At least he's not asking what a twelve-year-old kid was going to do against a horde of demons...

"My, my. This sounds like quite the adventure."
Jack of Blades approached the young pair in his human disguise, hands behind his back and walking briskly, businessman in nature. Otar trailed behind, the decrepit Demon Priest also in a 'human disguise' appearing as an elderly man in a business suit. The pair almost looked like grandfather and grandson, but because of the way Jack walked ahead and spoke first, it seemed more like rich kid and bodyguard.
"I dare say that I'd need to involve myself in such an adventure, don't you agree, Otar?" He asked in his English accent, looking back at the Demon Priest, who said nothing, simply giving a curt nod.

Something about this guy didn't feel right. It made me shiver... He felt... familiar. I couldn't place my tongue quite on where I knew him from. But even the way he spoke and the way the creepy old guy followed him... Everything was unsettling. "I, uh.." I stay silent now. I'll wait for Ginta to answer.

Somethings off about this guy... He seems kinda creepy. Then again, an ally is an ally. Who am I to turn down a new friend? "Hey Mister!" I replied boldly, not letting my thoughts show through my words. "So you wanna help stop all the bad demons too? That's great! What's your name?" I ask the boy, seeing as the older man was already addressed as Otar.
