"Now, listen N... All three of you... What you did today, you saved lives. Now I want to offer you the opportunity to save more..." A glint of sudden vigour appeared in his eyes, his goal was now within reach.

"..." I didn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him. He started that Crossing. But I would at least hear him out. I wanted to end all the Crossings. End the demons forever... Including this one. My gaze was clearly suspicious. But I removed my Mask and placed it in the bag.

Jack... Is acting strangely. He's claiming we saved lives and acting as if this crossing was an accident when he started it... Like he wants us to follow him into something. I hate to think this, but I don't trust him. It's best to listen for now, but I think I might have to decline whatever he's offering. "Really Jack?" I ask innocently. "That sounds great! What do you have in mind?"

He gave a soft, sympathetic sigh. "My most loyal guards, forced into doing his bidding... Well, I have been mustering my forces here, preparing to take my home back..." He looked at each boy individually...
"I would like your help in taking my home back."

"...That sounds almost too good to be true." It's exactly what I was looking to create. It was what I wanted. Well, minus the evil demons. If there were peaceful ones (and the chances of that are... slim), then they could remain. "What's the catch, Jack?" It was rare that I use such a tone. In fact, from a twelve-year-old, it probably sounded dumb or adorable.

"There is none." He looked Link dead in the eye, his mismatched watching his own intently.

"Link? You know my name?" I stepped back and almost flinched in surprise. That... almost confirmed what I had thought already. I know who he is now. And the rage that built inside me... "YOU!" I draw my sword and swing hard vertically.

I instantly make a large wooden post in front of the sword, getting it lodged in. I hang my head and slowly pace towards Jack...
"Mr. Jack... If what you claim is the truth... I will gladly stand by you. And I will protect you." I had to put emphasis on the word. I'd kill... I'd kill to preserve Jack, and this haven he spoke of. "Link, step down."

Jack smirked, whilst N wasn't looking, but then suddenly feigned innocence.
"My boy!" He said to Link, doing his best to look hurt. "How could you dare be aggressive towards I, who just did so much to help you, you boys wanted an adventure and go it! Well, now I want my adventure..."

And I stare into the Mask... I just didn't know what to do...

Jack raised an eyebrow, as the boy pulled out Majora's mask, but he soon gave a large smirk.
"You think that will stop me?!" He goaded "Do it. Put on your strongest mask, I shall retake the Void, child. You will not stand in the way of peace for the OtherWorld" He looked across at N and then motioned to the mask. "That is a thing of pure evil, he hopes to stop our justice by using it!"

"...This Mask is evil. But I've had it since birth. You gave it to me, Jack. I remember... That's why I don't want to use this Mask..." It hurt even looking at it.
Link. You know it has to be done. The green-haired kid is about ready to attack you just for existing... But if you wear me, we could take him and Jack out. All at once.

"Alright, well I think that's enough adventure for one day!" Interrupting everything that was going on, I grab Link by the wrist and make a mad dash for the door. "Ok see you guys later or something we have stuff to do!" I drag Link out the door and start running in the first direction I see. "Don't stop running Link, I can tell that Jack is actually really evil!" I state, oblivious to the fact that I was telling Link what he already knew. "But poor N... I think he thinks Jack is a good guy!" I keep dragging Link as I spill what's on my mind, no matter how obvious. "So we're gonna need a plan."
