Lea grinned. "Are you kidding me?" He sent a blast of flame at the demon once more. "UGLY!" he shouted. "Yeah, you! Demon! You said you were after me?"
It growled hungrily.
"Yeah, you come and get me! If you can."
It charged, and he leaped backwards, sending more flames at it.
"Hahah! Too slow! Man, getting schooled by a Halfer? You're pretty pathetic, aren't you?"
It roared and charged him again.
Lesser demons were nothing if not stupid.

"Really? Taunting the demon?" I smirked. I loaded some cryo-bullets into my gun after disposing of the empty clip and began to shoot near the demons head. It looked at me and began to charge. I was lucky enough to get out of the way in time and continued to shoot. "I think I have bad luck, this is the second crossing I've been in this week!"

I watched as they distracted the demon and moved to get in behind it, closing in with the hopes of not being noticed before swinging my sword at the back in the hopes of striking a deep blow and not getting killed in the process.

"This is my sixth this month," Lea growled, shooting a gout of flme at the demon. "Am I the only one who feels like we're playing Pong?" he muttered, getting some strikes in while the demon was moving towards him.

"Yeah, we are kinda playing a sick version of pong aren't we?" I shot more and more, trying to divert attention back to me. Hopefully this will be over and done with soon. I placed a gun back in the holster grabbing another garbage can lid and threw it at the demon, calling it out. "Hey! Demon, over here!" It seemed to fail though because it was still after Lea.

I continued to slash at it with my sword, though it seemed to be barely making a dent. I glanced up its back towards its head, wondering if there was a way to get up there. Only time would tell if the opportunity arose. "Dammit, just what does it take for this thing to die?!"

It wasn't until I tripped over my suddenly changed paws and the world went shadowy that I realized that going to look for my puppy friend today was a big mistake...I just got pulled into the veil (aw man!), "Oof!" Gaining my footing on all fours again I stare at the Demon that's attacking the... Otherborns? Before deciding to help. Unsheathing my claws I rush forward to scratch and bit at the foreign foe. "Take that!" I really hope no one mistakes me for an enemy as I do so.

It was just Shiki's luck, she thought, that she stumbled into another Crossing. Three in one week? She cursed under her breath, annoyed more than she was surprised-though what reason was for her to be surprised? A simple walk always seemed to lead to something or another. She noticed Lea, Aya, and another guy fighting a lesser demon. Just as she was about to jump in, a furry creature came and attacked the demon.
Ignoring whatever questions that could have been asked about it, she ran in, ready to help.
"Well look what we have here; another ugly creature. Mind if I jump in?" She asked, running forwards, her hands lit with her fire.

Having followed the Ronso like cutie, I soon found myself emerged inside the veil again. It wasn't nearly this bad, this time I seemed to be between planes of existence. A group of otherborn worked togeather to bring down a lesser demon, one with very tough skin from the looks of it. I watched as the Ronso like creature leaped at the lesser demon and transformed scratching and bitting at its neck, firmly attached to its back. The demon howled in pain, and frustration as it tried to fling it off. "Hold on little guy, your going to get hurt like that." I pulled a special gun of mine out of my bag, one I had never a need for before it was a special snipper rifle that I won in a poker game. Assembling it I poped a few rounds of special bullets filled with holey water that were blessed by a priest. Aiming at the demons head I let off 3 shots, one after another in a rapid fire. BANG BANG BANG. The bullets hit its mark, right between its eyes. I watched as the demon's eyes rolled up in the back of its head, but kept fighting much like a chicken with its head cut off.

"Hello Shiki, good to see you." I looked around at the cat and the brown haired girl from the club a few nights ago. I kept shooting as the demon went from person to person trying to find a worthy target. The giant gash on my shoulder was really starting to sting and bleed so I tried to stay out of sight and heal it. I don't want to pass out in the heat of battle. That's an easy way to die.

Yowling as I get thrown off I tumble in the air and land on my feet. A hiss escapes me, "Stupid lesser." And I am about to rush back in when I see a lady backing off a bit to do something. Curious I hurry over.
Seeing her healing herself I stand on guard, making sure to protect her from on coming attacks. Or at least the best I can.

(Neku I was very careful not to say I killed it accually, you assumed I did.... I left the assuming up to you the mod.... maybe it rolled up its eyes in the back of the head out of reflex to the pain or out of reflex. If I had killed it I would of said it dropped to the ground and died or something like that. Could you undo what you did to my post? my shot merly damaged it)
Edit (I also want to point out that as a lesser demon it is not very smart, and its thick skull more than likely stopped penetration.)
Noticing the girl bleeding from a gash on your leg I rush over to her. "Hi, name' Yuna, and I'll be healing you today.
I smile at her and begin casting curaga to mend the wound without waiting for her to respond.

(Actually she got hurt on the shoulder, not leg, oh well, no big.)
"It's alright, I-" I felt almost like she was taking pity on me because I could have healed it myself, but I pushed the thought aside as both of our healing magic did the same thing. I stood up and walked passed her and muttered a thanks under my breath and pet the lion so she knows I appreciated her trying to guard me. I then picked up my guns and continued to shoot.

She noticed Aya trying to heal herself and figured she could try and keep the demon's attention away from her. She put her flaming hands out, letting the smoke clear away enough to not be noticed. "Hey! You want easy prey? I'm your girl!" It probably wasn't the smartest thing to say, but it would do. One thing she'd noticed with various lesser demons were that they were attracted to fire. Shiki raised her hand and snapped her fingers, letting flames flicker to life. It was a one chance that she'd take. "What are you waiting for?"

I did my best to keep slashing at the demon and avoid getting overwhelmed from all of the chaotic emotions swarming my head. I had to admit that I was certainly getting frustrated with this thing and tried to stab my blade deep into its back though it would likely earn me a backhanded smack from Ugly.
