((Continuation from Those Best Laid Plans))
The air, red hot and choked, swirling with random debris and destruction. Vaan took several slow steps through the red dirt, making his way through the spiny like objects towering above him. He gripped his broadsword tighter as he stood in the middle of the clearing, facing the demonized Lebeau building...where the Arbiter was waiting. As we look at Vaan from afar, this scene briefly fades away to show how we got here...
...Vaan, and a select few of the large group from before, stood outside of Izaya's office, waiting to be let in after been given a text message to meet him at his place.

"Come in, come in," said the voice from within, as he leaned back, resting his feet on his desk. He was relaxed, in control. The formation of pieces on the board was interesting, black Go stones circling the rest of the pieces, shogi tiles and chessmen, the White King in the center, the Black King directly behind it. A set of playing cards lay spread, facedown, on the table around the board.

Vaan opened the door and stepped in, as he did though he tripped and stumbled against the desk and knocked the chess/game pieces around.
"Oh crap," he said, hurriedly trying to set them back up - and failing. "That one went here, no this one went here...no...nevermind, close enough."
He left the pieces alone and cleared his throat, "So..."

"Don't worry," Izaya said, smiling at him, "I know where they go. Whie was about to move anyway..."
He fixed his red eyes on Vaan.
"So, I assume you and your friends are here in response to my message? I have the information you were looking for."

Self-Reliance you will learn from Izaya Orihara.
Sora's message rang through Vaan's head as he stood before the man in question, "Okay good...so, where is he? Where is he headed?"

Izay swung out of his chair, eying the assembled Otherborn and Vaan. "The main branch of the LeBeau's company bank," he said, "though I doubt he's gotten there yet. Seems like h's made a couple other stops along the way, even though I haven't been able to track him." He grinned. "It also appears that the Arbiter actually does not exist."

"Main Lebeau bank?! Damn we go to-" Vaan had turned to leave when he stopped, turned around and asked, "I am sorry...what? Did you say he doesn't exist?"

Izaya smirked. "THat I did."
He did not elaborate further.

"Wait, wait...you, the big information broker can't figure out who this guy is?" Vaan asked, skeptic, "what are you saying, he just popped out of nowhere?"

"Yeah, cut the crap, Izaya," I growled. "We don't have the patience for this."
I watched him laugh, then shake his head.
"Ahh, Vaan, that's exactly what I'm saying. The Arbiter has no history, no future... no links to any sort of identity." He laughed. "Neku knows how seriously I take my job... yet there is no information to find. He's a figment; a creation. As good a creation of any of mine." A compliment, from Izaya, I noted. There was something... excited about his normally-relaxed posture. "Yet... a creation nonetheless..." and he smirked, "and a creation of a certain terrorist, it seems. A terrorist who claims to be bringing forward a new, better race of men..."

"A terrorist?" Vaan asked, then he recalled a line from Neku's letter -when he was deciphering Sora's code-. "I wonder..."
He thought about it but shook his head, "Alright, Lebeau's main branch, that's where we're headed next."

I had listened with only having to grind my teeth once through out this whole thing, shoving my own emotions aside to keep Neku chiller than he could be. Now I sigh and shrug my shoulders, "Just don't look at me... I mean, I sorta, kinda, maybe... Alright! I know where we should go..." I then snort and laugh. "Although... I don't know how to access it... Well I do... But not supposed to... So... This shall be interesting..."
Shifting my weight around I frown, "As fast as I want to move... I feel we're not ready to face someone like that... I mean... The dude fricken stopped me in the air..." My frown deepens. "And if he isn't real... then I'd hate to meet his maker."
Then I shrug and smiles to Vaan, "But whatever, you're the Boss for now, hon."

"Yeah I- wait what?" Vaan looked at her, floored that not only she called him hon again, but 'boss'. "I- you know what nevermind. As much as I hate the thought too we're on a tight schedule, Namine you're going to have to take us to where it is okay?"
He stopped and looked at the group outside. "I hope everyone has bus fair..."

I shrug, "Well if worse comes to worse we'll just have to apprehend the bus." And then I hop from foot to foot. "But as you wish sir~ Lets get this show on the road...!"
I begin to head out and then stop with a slightly embarrassed and confused expression, "Where is the nearest bus station?"

"If nobody has bus fair..." Shizuo started, leaning against the doorway, his arms crossed against his chest and his teeth gritted against the annoyance of even being near Izaya. "I can get it. Parking meters aren't as stable in the ground as people would have you believe."
