Sophie was becoming drastically tired. How long could she keep using her aura before...? She tried to keep the thought out of her mind, and concentrated on what was currently happening.
She and Josh were running across the bridge to reach the rest of the group.
Rumbling had start to occur again, but it wasn't from creating a new bridge; it was from the first bridge they built. It was crumbling back into the sea!
But the rumbling became worse as bigger chunks of the bridge broke off.
Sophie was running for dear life, and Josh was a few steps ahead of her. The rumbling grew, and Sophie tripped and fell to the ground. "Uahhh."
Josh turned to look at the bridge behind them. "Sophie!"
He stopped, and ran back towards her. "Are you okay?"
The bridge was almost completely gone... and then, the island they were once on also began to crumble.
Oh no, Josh though as he helped Sophie to her feet. It must be that wind that brushed over Vaan and I...
A thought shot him dead in his mind.
"We need to get off this bridge, now!"
Before Sophie could even speak a response, Josh grabbed her hand, and started running towards the group.
Bits and pieces of the bridge they were on began to break away, having little support from the other island.

Vaan turned around as he heard Josh yell, as the bridges began to crumble his eyes widened. "That can't be good."
"All the more reason you need to use these platforms." the floating light moved over to the floating pieces of land he assembled, as a makeshift way to get to Shizuo and Izaya. Vaan nodded and climbed onto the first floating platform.
"Lets go people!" he yelled to the others.

Vaan and the others didn't get time to move, soon as Vaan moved forward he could feel gravity move against him and suddenly he, Aqua, everybody was suddenly flung upwards into the air. They flew straight up to the top tower and stayed there in the air, Vaan craned his head over and saw him...the Arbiter, in the tower holding them all back telekineticly.
"Arbiter!" Vaan yelled angrily.
"I should have done this sooner." The Arbiter remarked, walking to a control console and slipping in a USB drive.
"What the hell are you doing with the money?!" Vaan yelled, trying to struggle against the telekinetic force.
The Arbiter responded with an answer Vaan didn't expect, "Safeguarding it."
Vaan blinked, "Safeguarding it...from what?"
The Arbiter responded with only one sentence, "From the fall of the humans."
He clicked a button and a progress bar appeared on the machine, "The money is being transferred out of all the Lebeau family accounts...and while the Otherborn, Halfers, and yes even Demons will be permitted to live..."
Vaan yelled as the telekinetic bonds tightened around him, the Arbiter keeping his hand steady on him.
"You, human, will die."

One moment she was racing forwards to help, the next she's in the air. Aqua struggles to move, hearing and seeing what's going on. When Vaan yells something snaps in her, she can feel the red rage from a long ways back sweep over her. She pulls her arm back and then throws her blade with all her might, "Not today you bastard!!" Her sword goes flying at the telekinetic.

" Cosmic Castaway - THEME OF VAAN"Aqua's blade flew through the air and as the Arbiter was realizing what was going on the blade slammed into the armored foe, he yelled out and his telekinetic hold on everyone ceased. "Ohhh crap!" Vaan yelled as they were beginning their downward descent. "Hold on!" the floating light moved around them, creating a land mass -albeit a small one- for everyone to stand on. Lose my head to the chemical freeway, comin' up on overload. In a mystic new dimension, purify and santify me. When the Arbiter got his focus back he saw the other standing before him, he tried to reach out and grasp them again but Vaan reacted quickly. "No you don't!" he yelled, the Arms summoning the crossbow - he lifted it and fired. The Arbiter turned his focus to it and stopped the arrow mid-air. Arbiter laughed, "You're going to have to do better than that-" A second arrow whizzed by the Arbiter...and right into the computer that was in the middle of transferring the money - the moment it hit the side of the computer it fizzled and shut off. "Your transfer is denied," Vaan said to him, keeping the crossbow armed. What? So I'm in no end game, move my piece right off the board. Losing sure is easy, so I am no more.

I watched it happen - one second, and Arbiter was about to wipe Vaan off the planet; the next, we were falling through the air. Somehow, I managed to twist, land on my feet again.
Then Vaan's bolt punched into the computer. And I grinned.
"Hell yeah! THat's how it's done, Vaan!"

Falling my partner grabs onto me and the girl.
Together we protect her from harm as we land on the small land form.
My partner smiles over to Vaan from under her hood.
I look around and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
The girl still sound asleep in me and Dest's arms.

Twisting around the mother lands and sees Vaan shoot his arrows, Aqua smirk before summoning my sword back to her side. The red fades as she sees the children are safe, mind falling into a state of peace, "Good job." Though... This is far from over, as Sora once said, nothing is safe... But, she prefers the saying... Nothing is safe enough.

Shiki flipped in the air and was able to land on her feet. She watched Vaan's arrow hit the computer and smiled brightly, "Nice one!" Honestly, she was surprised. She never thought she'd see a human fighting like this beside her and be this good.

Shiki wasn't the only one who was surprised a human could fight so well, the Arbiter was furious. "You...who ARE you?" the Arbiter asked, Vaan kept his crossbow trained on him. "Vaan Shepard." Vaan responded. "Well then Mr. Shepard, I must ask...why are you even here?" Vaan looked at him with confusion, the Arbiter elaborated, "You are a human, not an Otherborn so you are not a member of the Network. You're not a halfer or even a demon, you barely know these people fighting alongside them. Are you telling me you care about them enough already to do this for them? Risk your life for people you barely know?" Vaan cast his eyes downward, "...you're right actually, I am neither of those things and I don't know enough about everyone around me to say I care...but I do have a reason, a reason that caused me to leave my home and come out all the way out here; Sora Shimomura." "Sora," the Arbiter repeated, "Are that close to do something that drastic and dangerous?" Vaan flinched, "Well um, no we were not really close...but I owe him." "Owe him?" the Arbiter repeated. But I'm not broken, in my dream I win. "He saved my life," Vaan said, "We were not close friends but he saved my life...this, right here is the very least I can do for what had done for me! And I am not leaving until I have done just that! And another matter, even though I don't know these people very well I wouldn't turn my back on them! Since when did I need a reason to help someone!" In here I'm nothing, a cosmic castaway!! (End: Cosmic Castaway - THEME OF VAAN) " The Arbiter of Ascension" The Arbiter began to glow with a purplish energy, the walls around them shattered and exposed the entire area: like a large arena surrounded by floating rocks. "Your name is Vaan Shepard...how fitting, the Shepard leads the sheep to their doom." the energy around the Arbiter exploded, causing random pieces of the flooring to lift and float around him. Vaan narrowed his eyes and switched to his broadsword, the pieces of flooring then launched at the group: threatening to crash into them.

"Oh no you don't," I growled to myself, exerting my influence on as many of the pieces of ruptured ground as I could. A battle between telekinetics is like a shoving match; the one with the greatest strength wins. A few, he wasn't concentrating too hard on, and I threw them away, but the others, the most I could do was stop them where they were.
"Guys," I said through grit teeth, "a little help here?"

"Its your decision as Rider, but..."
I feel the girl's weight fall completely on me as Dest slips over to...
The orange haired guy.
As she moves, swift and fluid as water, she glows slightly.
Skin darkening, wings appearing, horns growing, tail flicking a bit, and clothes changing.
She throws her weapon in the air, when it comes back down its a pick black bow.
Her eyes turn a blazing silver-white.
She then draws her weapon, "Στο όνομα του Aquarius..."
Steam rolls off her a moment before she turns in the direction that most of the rocks are.
"πέφτω!"
She lets loose her arrow and a wall of angry water crashes down on most of the rocks.
Her inner waters pouring down on them, some rocks falling and others crashing.
But most still hang there or a number of them come at us.
She turns and aims an arrow at the guy, "Καταστρέψει.Ο θάνατος. "
She is about to let loose an arrow as I feel the girl in my arms stir.
Her eyes opening a glowing green color.
"Cheri..."
Is that...
Blue flames I see rushing through the ground?
Blinking its gone.
But suddenly she isn't leaning fulling on me.
One of her hands stretches out in the direction of the Orange haired male.
I can feel the power pulse from her, drain her.
Just what is she doing?
Is she...
Acting as an outer well of power for him?
An Extra form of strength?
Gritting my teeth I stop wondering and mumble my own spell of protection.
One from herself.
To prevent her body from eating at itself for a moment...
We will be strength together then.
Dest's arrow is gathering power as she waits to see if she'll HAVE TO strike.
I can feel her blood as easily as I can feel mine.
Pound, pulse, quiver.
The three of us are like a heart.
And then...
There is a forth side that shudders.
I wonder...
Are my relatives here...?
((A/N: Dest's translations - "In the name of Aquarius... Fall! Destroy. Death." Also, yeah... Haku can sense his family members and stuffs *skips off*))

Aqua freezes. She doesn't know what to do, her mind locks up. All the... moments of freedom? Gone. Her heart shudders as she watches the others move to defend, but her? She stays frozen, heart shuddering to itself.
Alone.
Scared.
Wishing she could help.
But frozen inside her own mind.

Shizuo slid in between Aqua and the flying debris, a fist drawn back. His eyes pools of molten gold as the odd bolt off yellow lightning leaped off of his arm and grounded, a testament of his power. His slender frame had buffed up slightly, like when they had fought Hei Nerr, his vocal chords constricted as he let out a snarl, indulging himself in his halfer blood.
"Oh no you don't!"[/b] He snarled as he threw his fist forwards, his bare knuckles colliding with the rock and concrete, shattering it into tiny pieces that flew out to either side of him. He brought his other hand forwards and grabbed another piece of debris, before tossing it up and over his head with a loud roar. Lowering his arms, he clenched his fists, prepared for any other approaching threats.
"Aqua..."[/i] He growled, looking over his shoulder, gold locking onto sapphire, a frown on his face. "Snap out of it! We're gonna' need your help here too..."[/i]

She's felt this way before, she knows that she needs to move, but she can't. She needs to protect, needs to help, but she just CAN'T.
So sorry everyone.
Then Shizuo is in front of her, dust and small chunks fly past her. Then their eyes connect, she feels cold and empty, but nods, "Okay." She moves next to him, her weapon shuddering and returning back to her original sword. She then whacks an incoming rock, stopping it short. "I'm sorry."
