Going for a "walk" [Closed]

I didn't want to explain to him how Vanitas didn't care for my well-being anyway. So I just nodded to get it over with, "Alright then, I'll try." I then started looking around at some of the signs of the places. Some were in other languages but I could only understand one of the words in French,

[Shiki]

"There's a few clothing stores down this way." Damon didn't know what she could read or what she couldn't and didn't want to insult her. He figured he'd just give her a head's up of what they were passing. "If you don't find anything there's always the All-Mart."

[Xion]

ooc: the funny thing is I totally forgot I had an outfit made for Xion... works well.

I shivered a bit at the word All-mart. "Thanks, um." She pointed to one of the stores near them, "How about that one... the one with the plastic people in it wait... mannequins."

[Shiki]

He glanced in the window and nodded, "Sure, why not?" Damon opened the door and held it open for her, "Browse around to your liking. If you need me just give me a shout."

[Xion]

I walked in slowly at a couple of the clothes and was a bit confused by how complicated they were. Some had about 50 zippers while others had 8 layers of pants. I found a small magazine and picked it up and flipped through it quickly. I chuckled and looked over at Damon, "Are these odd clothes, or is this what humans wear... at least currently."

[Shiki]

Damon smiled, "Current style, it's what's in. Doesn't mean you have to go along with it though. Some of the stuff they come up with I think is just ridiculous." He watched some people walk around the shop and then said, "But let me warn you, Xion. Humans can be very, very strange."

[Xion]

I looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, "Strange in behavior or just strange?" I then almost fell and caught myself on one of the racks. When I looked at it there was a pretty blue dress hanging on one of the hooks, "Oh."

I picked it up and looked at it, on the tag it said "Comes with matching shoes" I picked it up and raised the dress up to me to see if it fit. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a half jacket that was the same color as the dress. I placed it on the hook to see if it matched, then I looked at the tag on the jacket which had boldly printed across it "50% off with purchase of dress" which had me look over at the dress's tag again which said "50% off with purchase of jacket"

I looked over at Damon with a hopelessly confused face, "I don't understand this logic."

[Shiki]

"Honestly, it can be both." He chuckled at her expression, "It's actually simple," he gestured to the clothes, "It just means that if you buy both items they're half of the original price."

Damon tilted his head to the side, "You like them?"

[Xion]

I nodded at his last question, but still didn't really understand why it couldn't just say something along the lines of "50% off entire set"

"I do like them, but I don't know um... human sizes..." I whispered the last two words, I looked at the tag again which said 4 different numbers and a name of a country with each one. I assumed that humans had all sorts of different measurements.

[Shiki]

He walked over and looked at the tag, "Easiest thing to do is try them on." Damon looked around the room and said, "Over there is a dressing room," he nodded in it's direction, "Go ahead in there and see what fits."

Damon moved to lean up against the wall, "I'm going to stay out here. I'd rather not get arrested."

[Xion]

I raised an eyebrow at his last comment before realizing what he was talking about. Instead of nodding in response or chuckling like I'd normally do, I raised my hand up and did an 'okay' sign with my hand. I only knew that one because Vanitas learned it from somewhere and taught me.

I went in the changing room and tried to put on the dress, but it fell very loosely and felt uncomfortable, so I got redressed in the cloak, then ran out and grabbed a dress 2 numbers down. I then ran back in and tried it on, this time it fit comfortably. I put on the jacket but I did not have the shoes with it. I walked out in the dress and jacket and looked over at Damon. "Does it look alright?"

He smiled, "Looks nice. I like it." Damon went over and picked up the shoes that went with the outfit. "These go with it." He took a look at her feet and then at the size of the shoe, "They'd probably fit." Then he held them out to her.

[Xion]

I took them quickly and tried them out. They fit almost perfectly, they were a bit loose but it was comfortable. I then looked up at Damon and smiled, "Yup these fit."

I then went back into the dressing room and put back on the cloak again and folded up the clothes. I got out and then remembered I was still wearing the shoes. I slipped them off and put my regular shoes on, it only took about 20 seconds.

When she came back he said, "Wow you're quick. Not that I'm complaining." Damon straighened up and said, "Anything else?"

[Xion]

I nodded at him and said, "Yeah I should be all set."

She looked around at a couple of other things, but not in interest to buy them, just of curiosity why some would wear these clothes.
