(It's ok. You'll get better in time.)

I grinned. "Great. Just... I'll need to let you know about the rules for this area. THe guy who runs this town, he's a bit of a hardass. I'm a Watcher myself; Shiki here'll be your COntact."
I didn't like advertising that I was anything more than a normal Watcher. Better that my leadership position didn't come up unless absolutely necessary; people pegged me as a leader no matter what I did.
"Anyway; Urbadelphia's rules are simple. Respect people, and they'll respect you back. Start trouble or cause fights, you get what you deserve; start too many fights, and you'll be finding yourself another town to live in unless you're rooted here enough that you can't leave."
I thought a second.
"Oh, and one more thing - start a fight in Veil, and you get what you deserve. That redhead over there's no pushover, and his boss makes him look like a wuss."
Even I didn't cross Tifa. And she was one of the people most adamant about that fact that she worked for me and not the other way around.

Shiki smiled as Neku assigned her as Noctis's Contact. "Lucky you." She said, and pulled out a pen and a price of paper from her pocket once Neku had finished talking. She'd learned the hard way to always have it with you, unless you want to memorize someone's information. Shiki was about to hand it to him, but stopped. By the way he acted, she wasn't sure he'd want to handle it. She decided to ask him what she needed, and if he wanted to write it, she'd let him. Always respect comfort zones.
"I need your cell phone number, street name, and if you have an Email that would be extremely helpful."

Noctis stayed silent as Neku went over more information and assigned Shiki as his contact. As the girl brought out a pen and pad of paper he was momentarily worried but new that touch could be easily avoided in this case. As she told him what she needed he reached out his hand to accept the pad of paper as well as the pen, careful so as to avoid his fingers touching hers. "Thanks for letting me join up, it'll be nice to put down some roots." He mentioned as he wrote down his personal information, all of it real instead of the ones he used as a farce before entering Urbadelphia. Once he had it written down he handed the items back to Shiki.

"Sure thing. We're all in this together, aren't we?" She said, her tone a very happy one. She took back the pen and paper, careful to keep her fingers away from his. Shiki then scribbled down her own information, except for her street name as she was still getting settled, and then handed it to him. "If you need anything, let me know." She then wrote down her own notes below his information for her personal reference.

He took the piece of paper and looked it over before tucking it away in one of the pockets on his thin, short sleeved jacket. "I'll be sure to call." He replied a light quirk of his lips into a smile showing that he was grateful to them both for being accepted into the organization. He would have to sharpen and maintain his weapon once he got back to the apartment. It wouldn't do to have a dull blade if a Crossing popped up suddenly or if he was called in for one reason or another, he had a feeling that things could happen quite unexpectedly here.

I laid back and thought for a few minutes. I was beginning to feel tired and the thought of leaving crossed my mind but in honesty I didn't want to. I'm sure it wasn't these two that made me want to stay. I looked around and noticed the brunette with the tequila in the corner. She looked a little lonely but I figured that if she wanted company she'd come here or to a different group if she wanted to, much like she did with the group behind us.

Lea looked at her. She seemed a bit lost in thought, and he smiled. He also leaned back, closed his eyes; just soaked in the atmosphere. He really did love this place.
"I know the feeling," he said, in response to the look on her face.

I grinned and nodded in agreement. "No kidding, this place makes you feel like you just don't want to leave." I added as I looked around the place again and taking stock of the various patrons just to see who was there. The emotions coming off of most of them were rather pleasant, nothing violent or sorrowful. There were a few who were down in the dumps but overall it was a pretty happy place.

Taking her items, she put them all back in her pocket. Then she leaned back into her chair. "Well this has turned out to be an interesting day." Shiki stiffled a yawn, the events starting to catch up with her. But she ignored the tired feeling that was starting to set in. Things were all too lively, and she wasn't going to miss out.

Noctis briefly glanced over his shoulder to look out the window. It indeed seemed to be getting late and he wondered if he should start heading back to his apartment. It would be a dangerous walk especially since he was without his weapon, he could handle himself in a fistfight but that didn't mean that he was some martial arts master. "It most certainly has. I should start getting back." He said before standing at the booth and placing the money for his drink on the table. "You know where to find me." He added as he gestured towards Shiki's pocket where she'd placed the items. With a quick nod of farewell to the two he walked towards the door of the bar.

"See you around." Shiki said and watched Noctis walk to the door. She took one last sip of her drink, surprised it had lasted this long, then looked at Neku with a smile. "And once again, it's just us." She played with the rim of her hat. "He seems like a cool guy."

I jumped a bit surprised when Lea spoke. "Huh? What?" I then realized he was talking about me thinking. "Yeah, I was a bit out of it." I looked at the booze and pushed it away. "I think I shouldn't drink anymore, it tends to not do me any good." That and I was beginning to feel the haze alcohol brings. I wasn't drunk per say but I was buzzed at least.

"Hey, nothing wrong with drinking. You're old enough to make your own choices, right?" He shrugged. "You can have a soda, if you like - we've got plenty of that on hand."

"No I'm about done. I'll probably head home soon anyhow." I stretched before looking at the time and realizing how late it was getting. I thought about how I was even going to get home, I didn't exactly live in the best neighborhood around so walking didn't seem the best option. Quickly I looked through my wallet and saw I didn't really have any money so that was my only option.
I laid my head down on my folded arms in frustration. I didn't want to walk but I didn't exactly have a choice.
