((He's not sitting alone, if you go back and read the posts. Didn't know if you realized that or not.))
He chuckled. "Sure, why not?" He went back behind the counter, grabbed some tape, and taped the sign to his back. Ignoring the giggles and suppressed laughter of those he passed on the way back out, he grinned. "There! All set, right?"

"Luckily for you I didn't draw anything crude." It's not like I would though, I mean, why would I? Besides drawing things other then meaningless symbols weren't exactly my forte.

"I know you wouldn't do that to a handsome and sexy waiter like myself," he said smugly.

I suddenly realize that the man I was trying to strike a conversation with wasn't alone. Sitting next to him was this tiny girl with a funny looking at. I stood up, I didnt want to invite myself over if he wasn't alone. Looking at the strange girl I apologized. "Sorry I didn't see you there, am I *pauses for a second and look at the guy sitting with her real fast*, ....intruding?"
I didn't want to walk in on a jealous girl friend, that would ruin my night. But on the off chance they were just friends, I smiled and added. "The offer goes for you to, want to play some drinking games? Do you like tequila?"

"Like I said before, it's unfortunate that you're aware of that fact, otherwise you might've been bearable." I smirked to myself before the other waiter came back and placed drinks in front of the three of us. I quickly thanked the waiter before taking a drink.

Lea took his root beer and took another sip.
Mmm. Delicious.
"Everything tastes better here in Veil," he declared, grinning madly. "Am I right?" he asked Zack.

I watched the exchange between the two, laughing at the thought of Aya pulling something like that on Lea before the waiter arrived with the drinks. I happily took a sip of my drink and nodded in agreement with Lea's assessment. "It's certainly the best I've ever had."

He nodded. "The owner, Tifa... she's the best. She keeps the best stuff, drinks, food, whatever; she prides herself on running the finest establishment possible." There was a lot of pride in his voice; it didn't take an empath to tell how much he cared about the owner... and Veil itself.

As Yuna approached and sat down at the booth with the offer of drinking games Noctis looked over at her with a slightly surprised expression on his face. Yuna seemed to quickly take notice of Shiki and stood back up before asking if she was intruding. He didn't quite know how to answer since while he didn't like the thought of being the centre of attention he didn't want to be rude either, especially since he didn't want to abandon the etiquette that had been taught to him by parents he hadn't seen in years.

"So I take it you're close with the owner?" I was curious about this Tifa character, judging from her business I could tell she's a hard worker but that was about it. I took another sip and looked around again to see if I could tell anything else about her from her business but nothing could be found.
"Is she your sister, your friend?" I realized that I was kind of ignoring Zack but he seemed in a better mood considering he was smiling again.

He looked briefly uncomfortable.
"KInd of a long story, but the short version is, she kinda took me in." He shrugged. "You could say I'm a bit of a runaway," he wasn't going to say anything more in front of Zack until he knew where the cheery gy stood on things, "and she helped me find a place to stay and gave me a job when I got old enough. You could say she's kinda like my big sister, but then... Tifa's like that with everyone."

"She definitely sounds like the big sister type." I replied before taking another sip of my drink, it was rather obvious that Lea cared for this place and the lady who owned it. Even I didn't need my powers to figure that out. As for the runaway thing? It wasn't entirely an uncommon story, a lot of kids ran away from their homes these days. Obviously, I couldn't remember if I'd ever done so myself.

"Yeah." He smiled. "Just, uh..." He shivered a little. "Don't make her angry. Seriously. Don't. It's not pretty."
He remembered the last time he'd ticked his boss off. It's not easy to whoop a halfer's ass in such a way that they look like a complete and utter wuss who wasn't even trying. Tifa'd managed.

"Learned from personal experience? Alright, I'll be sure not to tick her off." Considering I'd probably never meet her, it was easy to be honest about saying that. "She sounds like a nice lady though. I guess you were lucky."
Truthfully, I almost ran away a few years ago but the issue resolved itself. I wish I could say that I miss my family but I don't. I'm here, they are on the other side, and I'm ok with that and no one needs to know that.

I laughed quietly at Lea's warning since it was clear that he had first hand experience. "Thanks for the warning, she definitely sounds tough. How often is she around?" I asked as I set my glass down on the table. I wasn't about to hit on her like some people would expect me to, but she sounded pretty interesting.
